| I normally turn off, straight after the final hooter.
Tonight, I'm glad I didn't. Lam, once he's viewed the game again, SHOULD SEE it differently.
As for Sky trying to make an issue of the Ratchford / Hastings "coming together", in the back play... give over.

Wasn't it just. The players and coaches really need to be taken aside at the end of the season and have it explained to them how they get paid because of the TV deal and that TV deal is dependent on putting on a good spectacle. Super League teams are obsessed with cheating tiny advantages all over the place that they just completely forget to do the basics of the sport. It's no wonder NRL coaches come over and are dismayed by the standard and just get them playing really structured stuff as they don't trust them to open it up at all.
Another thing, how were Wigan on a three game winning streak? How on earth did that happen?

| The interested detective in me, just had a wander elsewhere
Redvee reckons Hicks is in bed with us, and Mamo should've stopped.
The night gets better

| Scrappy win no training I say well done us, you could see lack of training was having an effect a few players down with cramp, not counting Sita in that he was just making up for all the yards he should of made the time he as been here
Also and I know it’s not just me but could someone get Charnley to stop trying to milk a penalty, we play great off the back of speed at the ruck and he just slows that down.

Said it before they are obsessed with us over there, how about this we have played 14 games to their 12 but Sad end was on here the other day about it when we had to call off, maybe with the short turnaround around and likely we a few players down for Sunday maybe we should borrow their COVID ticket, will give him something to come rant about

Like Fages did v Hull? Yes, I know one was a head knock but it was glaringly obvious to Fages that there was a problem but he played on.
I still don't see the issue with the Marshall incident and I was very suprised his HIA failed but to be fair, most on the Wigan forum are focusing on their inability to break us down, despite our horrendous ball retention.

Looked terrible didn't it. Our Doc will be getting plenty of crochet practice on that cut.

| If the ref is 100% sure, he’s 100% right not to use the screen.
I had my doubt….but that close reply after the game, proved exactly why he didn’t.
Full credit to Hicks. He proved everyone who doubted, wrong.
So no, he shouldn’t have gone to the screen.

| Overall I enjoyed the game especially being back at the ground as despite being relatively few in number the atmosphere was decent.
Other than that it was pretty much as expected we were rusty they were poor and Hicks gave us nothing for an hour then tried to even it up.
Hope Thewliss is OK it didn't look great but head wounds and claret can often be more dramatic once attended to.
One gripe and all teams do it including us but Wigan are the masters at mucking about at every PTB a quick clean one is as rare as hen's teeth. Frustrating to watch and not a great advert for the game.

He's fine for Sunday, thankfully. After a few stitches and a bit of 'character' added to his face . . .

| I enjoyed the game 6 out of 10. I enjoyed the Lam / Sky histrionics a full 10.
You could tell we were rusty but there were a few decent performances: Clark, Hill, Austin. Even though our pack didnt really shine, I don't think Wigan would have scored in the middle of the field if we played until Sunday.
