St. Helens ARE NOT our rivals. In my lifetime of watching RL,they've only raised a ripple with us, since Eddie Hemmings invented a hoodoo. Crap travelling support, until 96, and since then, they come over all "Billy Big Biscuits".

Wigan, Widnes and even Leigh are ahead of them from WA9 (they even have a Warrington postcode, and a Merseyside address on their letters.....NO IDENTITY)

The feelings mutual our rivals are wigan and leeds , teams who we contest championships with , you could add bradford and widnes to that list at one time or another. The big, succesfull clubs like saints, wigan and leeds view warrington as a temporary irritant who shout and scream "look at us everybody were a big club, we can fly a plane with a banner behind it ",much in the same way united , liverpool and nal view chelsea/city. Dont believe me ,look what wigan and leeds think of warrington , they too see you as some sort of joke.

Leeds went decades without winning either a championship or CC. But we don't see them ad rivals, and vice versa.

RL rivalry (just like football) resembles a Venn diagram (when you reach secondary school, you'll study them). Some overlap all area, some meet only one of the remaining constituents, some meet several. It really isn't important.

What matters, is what's happened recently.
