| According to wiki, pitch width is only 1 yard wider than HJ, but I must admit it seems a lot wider

| I want to win both the CC and GF equally as much. Don't care that we've won the CC three times in the last decade, winning at Wembley is spine tinglingly good. If we won the CC and not the GF this season is still be chuffed with a great season, although disappointed not to win the GF. However if we lost the CCfinal and won the GF I'd be chuffed with a great season but disappointed not to win the CC.
I think both finals and the LLS will be between us and 'ull.
I don't mind Hull at all but I want the lot!

| Should be a great game and atmosphere, according to the Hull website 25000 tickets have been sold already between the two clubs.

| The much discussed charge down has become a bit of a rarity from our game this season... Maybe for this game we need to put some heat on Mark Sneyd to try to deny them field position.. He will probably kick early in the tackle count too.

From the semi Tuimavave certainly struck me as a centre playing at stand-off. The player who dictates where the ball is moved to in the Hull FC side is definitely Sneyd and I agree MW, if we can pressure Sneyd then we are someway into seriously disrupting their gameplan.

46584_1279360105.jpg Warrington RLFC: The Wire, NOT Warrington Wolves

| It's not up to me how we're going to play so I'll let Smith worry about that, but the more I think about this, the more I really don't want Wires to be the team that lose to Hull at Wembley.
I've got nothing against them - and I was right behind them in the 2013 final - and I stand by my posts where I would swap absolutely anything for a Grand Final win. That is 100% the one I want. However, their first win at Wembley is going to be remembered for a long time and I don't really want us to be the famously defeated.

| Quote: moving on... "Obviously Hull's strength is their pack and their game plan is to bully teams down the middle. A bit like ourselves not that long ago. the hardest thing playing against Hull is that its relentless. Their Bench can be just as big as their starting pack. that being said... they're big but they're not mobile.
Wire have the advantage of a pack with big men in it that are also athletic and mobile around the pitch. I'd expect us to used the size of Wembley's pitch to our advantage. shifting the ball by 2 or three men on each tackle. keep the big men moving and working. kicking will win us this final. I'd expect (or I'd hope to see) plenty of early kicks deep into their corner. Turning their forwards around and forcing them to make huge yards to get out their half. if we can get our line speed right and meet them quick their pack wont build any momentum. Getting them to kick in their own half constantly and we've got a good chance. Attacking wise trying to hit them up the middle will just tire us out more than we need to be. spread the ball either side, suck the centres and wingers in.'"
I'd be surprised if man for man that Hull's pack is any bigger than wire's. Taylor and Pritchard are the only 2 big men really although Green is tall but he's not particularly heavy for his height. Our massive pack is a bit of a myth really although our outside backs aren't small

| Its not just our forwards which are big, you only have to look at our wingers Talanoa and Fonua who are massive backs.

Not particularly, both under 110kg's which is where most RL forwards are

| I can see our biggest problem will be allowing Hull to make too many yards on their six tackles & us having to start either in the wrong part of the field with our sets of six or kicking off from the halfway line.

| Our attack on Saturday was off the cuff and reactive to errors by Wakey and their inability to control, our fast ruck speed. Hull will be more structured in their defence and make far less errors. To beat them we will need a different method of attack with more structure . Hopefully this is where Kurt will come to the fore. Chrissy will be the icing on the cake of our attack on play 4 or 5.

Interesting fact: the KCOM pitch is the same width as the Wembley pitch and only slightly shorter.
