4729_1341555985.jpg I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine; he gets better with age. The next day, she locked me in the cellar.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_4729.jpg |

| Great player only really apprecited him when signed for us. Lots of cap space freed up I suppose.
We need a new front row to match Moz, Monas and Carv in their prime

| Great way for him to finish by going home, also a very good signing for Salford.

| Quote: Kevin Turvey "And Michael Monaghan too I would imagine - out of contract and struggling with fitness.
After watching Higham and Wood perform on Monday I would love to see both of them signed up for next year. With no additions our props would probably be Hill, Wood, Harrison and possibly Westwood with Higham and Dwyer at hooker. I would like to see an additional hooker and prop come in.'"
We have signed Anthony England from fev, so that's one more prop in the mix.

It's a terrible signing for Salford, a nice PR piece, but he'll offer them nothing next season bar a professional attitude. One has to shudder at the wages he'll be on at Salford as well.'"
If all he offers them is a professional attitude then he will be well worth the money. The word 'professional' hasn't been used at that Club for many years.

| A great player and a brilliant bloke to boot. Sorry to see him go but he'll always have primrose and blue running through his veins. Remember Moz, once a Wire always a Wire. Good luck at Salford.

cast your mind back to the ethiad when this finished player ran 30 odd yards past your defence to score...

Bloody 'ell.
We've gone from Ginger Scouse being Moz's replacement, to a Karen Carpenter soundalike, in one sentence.
I hope she can put up with Ryan Bailey's "intimidatory" tactics

| This is good business for all concerned.
Without getting to misty eyed, we've all got to realise that Moz isn't the man he used to be. That nasty eye injury (iirc) of 2011 has knocked him back a bit, and he just hasn't hit his own incredible levels of performance, since. Still one of the leagues best props, though.
Still, an AWESOME player, who we've managed to keep for SEVEN seasons. He's well deserved to be mentioned in the same breath as other players from our illustrious history.
Enjoy your retirement by the Ship Canal

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| Really enjoyed watching Morley play and delighted he leaves with, at least, 4 medals.
Good luck in semi retirement Morley.

| Thanks to Adrain for everything that he has done for the Wire and he will have a place in the Wire Hall of Fame in my book.

| Firstly, yes thanks to both Moz and Gareth for being a big part in the success of the club, recently. Sadly, neither is the player they were so it's good business by the club, and a good dealsfor the players.
What I think is undeniable now is that the clubs primary recruitment focus needs to be a real, brutal enforcer in the pack, the kind to put a few opposition forwards on their hind quarters and make them think twice about coming that way again.
Hill has been a superb aquisition but he is not that sort of player; neither is Wood who incidentally was asolutely brilliant against Wigan. The backrow of (choose from) Westwood, Waterhouse, Grix, Harrison & Currie oozes work ethic, hard-yards and no shortage of class, whilst Higham should be the senior hooker ahead of Dyer and perhaps Darryl Clarke.
So, step forward some raw-boned, no-nonsense handful of a prop. Hockian thugs need not apply, ability to score tries and offload not essential but ability to scare the sh*t out of opposition packs mandatory.

This is so disrespectful to a Legend of the game. I have always had a smile at your cheeky posts but with this you have let yourself down.
