Does getting wrecked at a game not cloud your judgement somewhat? I have a few snorkels now and again before the match but never hit the wallop hard?

Only ever been really drunk once. Odsal a couple of years back in the play-offs. Remember spilling my pint over a old lady when Reardon went under the sticks and getting the missus to pull over 5 times to have a wee on the way home

i went to watch england play Romania in 94ish at Wembley and drank gallons of diamond white all the way down in the back of a transit van. The morning after my dad asked me if i had enjoyed the game, i replied "yeah great win 1-0 and made up Rob lee had scored", my dad looked at me in digust as the game actually finished 1-1 and i was that drunk i missed them score

Not really calms the nerves abit for me never been totally wrecked though god help me if we win im in work on Sunday as well.

Only time I ever have been was Wigan v Wire a few years ago. Mate's birthday the same day, so was out in Wigan for 1pm, then went the game and then back out till about 3am.

Don't see the point in getting smashed at the game, otherwise what's the point in going because you're only going to see the game from a narrow minded point of view.
