| Abe, come on dont tell me you didnt find it funny what he did?? He did it for a laugh, and got a lot of laughs from a lot of people all over the world. The Do Gooders and politically correct people out there are the ones that say "how bad that was".
It wasnt. It was a prank, and i dont know 1 person (wiganers, wires, saints fans etc) who didnt laugh at it.
To try and p*ss everyone off on here by saying hes a bad man for what he did, well your wasting your effort typing mate. We will give him as much "stick" as anyone else.
The bottom line is, he is a WORLD CLASS player, weve got him for NOTHING, and have replaced Hicks contract with an IDENTICAL one for him for 12 months, until we can shift something to pay him more next season and get him on a longer deal.
So if youre taking the "do-gooding" stance, nip round to Gareth Hocks house and give him FRANK's number. Or go to your chairman / board and explain to them that breaching the salary cap is CHEATING.

He plays both centre and wing. In the NRL he's played approx 2/3 of his games in the centres and 1/3 on the wing. For NSW in Origin he played in the centres and for the Aussies he was on the wing in the 2008 World Cup.
He has been a pretty prolific try scorer through his NRL career. He used to play alongside Adam Mogg with the Raiders, before Mogg came to Catalans and over here people rated Mogg as a top player....IMO Joel Monaghan was a better player than Mogg was.
To give a comparison of NRL try ratios
He's 28, is that in dog years?
From what i hear he's been used as a centre more than wing so i imagine he will play centre with king on the wing.
It would be a mistake trying to turn him into a fulltime winger at the age of 28(dog years?) because it's hard to teach a old dog new tricks.

Laugh? I couldn't stop laughing when i first heard and yesterdays announcement that he had signed for you saw me hurtle towards my laptop to share the humour!
This poster is no do-gooder. Indeed I am far from it. Everyone is a target for humour including those you highlighted although, in defence, the former board were responsible not the current - but thats just me being pedantic. My mates weren't happy with the jokes i sent by text about our recently deceased player!
I agree with your comment that you should give him stick too, as i truly feel that he needs to live with the whole history and somehow embrace self defacation. It would be brave and somewhat admirable if he actually played on it but this would ultimately belittle the act and ensure snipers, not unlike myself, become bored with something that is evidently not affecting him.
