| I actually thought the sin binning was harsh, but Julian stupidly ignored the ref a couple of times even if he did think it was play on.
The brown try was chalked off after the tackle had been completed. Although Bentham and the tj on the south stand were looking at each other neither knew what was going on, hence the confab.
Neither of them saw the ball come loose, neither of them called it, and then they deduced what may have happened.

Checked all sites can not see it anywhere, only thing i can say was there were a lot more there than i expected, Salford fans were making more noise pretty much all the way.

REally? i missed the start and heard the 600, but i would be surprised at that, i got there about half an hour later than usual at around quarter past 2, the concourse was dead in teh south, the south itself was sp at that point and there were big gaps around us, in sections.
The north was surprisingly full, even with the kids rugby families included.
Interesting to see the end blocks of the salford fans were both taped off, not seen that for a while.

the worst bit for me, was the carney offload, which lui then farted around a bit, then went through the gap that carney couldnm't get through, then set off like a greyhound up field.
The guy has had knee and hamstring problems for 2 seasons straight, he's on one leg and ended up looking like usain bolt against us.
The whole right side of our team needs sending to rochdale, russell, hughes and brown.

To be fair, this season he hasn't had any problems with his leg. That break comes on the back of a 90 metre breakaway try on Friday against Catalan to. We played some decent stuff, but it must be worrying as Wire fans when you see your side lack any effort. They certainly looked, with the exception of Sims, Clarke, and Ratchford devoid of spirit and ability.

32990_1435324474.jpg First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_32990.jpg |

| As an outsider it looks like you have suffered a huge psychological hangover from losing to Wigan in last year's GF. I honestly expected you to win comfortably considering Wigan's injuries and I think it's had a lasting negative effect on the team. Perhaps the players felt the team couldn't improve on last years effort and weren't encouraged by your new 2017 recruits? I also think losing Sandow and young Ben Currie to injury has been another big blow for you. It's clearly evident the team are lacking confidence, energy and enthusiasm that comes with winning games more regularly. There's probably not a lot Tony Smith and Agar can do without completely overhauling your psychologically damaged squad over the next couple of season's.

| Well if there's nothing they can do about it then they need to move on. They are paid, handsomely, to do something about it...and it is clearly not forthcoming. If no changes are made i seriously worry about us in the middle 8s. All the super league sides would beat us currently and if we play hkr away we'd lose and if its toulouse away i wouldnt be confident either.

to be fair the pass at the end of his run was about 2 meters forward.
Worryingly on that one episode alone you can see there is a real unwillingness in the Wire players to Work in defence, and philbin and King just turn their heads and look to the next man in hope he is going to do the tackling....
but Matty Russell what a star..!!!
For Evalds last Try that was a work of genius to be first to, and closest to the ball but allow Evalds to score it...
I'ved watchged that back a few times and slowed it down and I still Dont know How Russell doesnt a ) ground it first or b) smack in to the west stand
awesomely bad player.....I like him he's funny.....

| ...but if you knew you were never going to get dropped, ever, why would you put your body on the line to get to the ball?

Oh, I was seething over that last try, just watched it on full-time now and it's ed me off again, not just that, the evalds and sau tries in the first half. His ability to turn on a kick or a break is a million times worse than lineham at his lowest point last year.
