| After the good spell in the first half wire just collapsed. Looked clueless in attack and the defence was Awful, never seen so many missed tackles. A few players need a rollicking this morning only Ratch and Hill come out that game with any credit. Credit to Cas for the way they slung the ball about the pitch and played us off the park. What was it 32 unanswered points that's unacceptable this season is going the same way as the last.

| Shocking that. Should've had the game won 20 minutes in but we switched off about 10 minutes later and never looked like winning after that.

I "like" the way a side that sits top of the league pretty much for half the season gets dismissed as an also ran in the race for title yet they ask Cas can they go on and win it...?
Wait till Hull hit the top later today, they haven't been top of the league since the 80's but all hell will break out when they're top. ...
Eddie would go stark staring bonkers though if Catalan and Hull both lost and we stayed top.

I didn't notice it, but he's an anti-Wire most weeks so I just shut him out these days. He absolutely hates us.

He was taking both team's defensive lines back 14m in the first half.

Are you surprised ? Brian Carney was the worst yesterday ,practically cheering Cas on.. He was almost crying when we were winning 10-0 saying the ref had helped us because he was keeping Cas back a big 10 metres ???? Thought that was the rules !!!

| Dreadful from us, we should have been out of sight after 30 mins really. Not many positives to take from yesterday's game. Gidley was very poor, same old problems we seem to have from time to time, we don't respect possession and we our completion rate isn't good enough. We dropped on the 1st/ 2nd tackle too often and let Cas off the hook. We desperately need some bodies back.

| Expected the defeat with the amount of injuries plus the fact Cas had full team back finally. If we had taken the chances in the first half and kept them to Nil, who knows but its clear that injuries are hurting us so we will need to try and hang in until we get healthy. If we keep tabs with the top, when we get bodies back we will be fine

| I felt that during the last five minutes of the first half Castleford went into 'panic mode', tossed the ball about and it stuck. On most other days there would have been missed passes, dropped balls, knock-ons galore and we would have gone into the break 14-0 (or better) up and probably gone on to win the game. As it turned out, the late first half scores gave them confidence to go on and dominate the second half whereas we folded. Taking nothing away from Castleford who were clearly deserved winners of the match, but we are starting to see too many of these England Cricket style collapses once the opposition gain the upper hand.

Absolutely spot on. Cas had a spell in that final 10 mins of the first half where they just offloaded at every opportunity, and fortunately for them by a combination of skill, luck and good conditions everything stuck. On another day, it might not have or play might have broken down and we'd have taken advantage to score again.
I think it's a reflection of the modern game. When teams get two scores in front, the opposition often go into Harlem Globetrotter mode to try and get quick points back. Sometimes it works, the team get momentum, the opposition start to give penalties away trying to stem the flow and games change. Once a team gets a 16-18 point lead the balance has usually tipped that little too far from rescue, because the opposition need to play the offload game almost constantly, and errors inevitably occur.

| It was a similar style of play to what produces many of our points.

Indeed it was, and similar to the style we employed to gain the upper hand in the first place and to generate several further half chances. If we'd made everything stick during our Harlem Globetrotter spell, we'd have been out of sight.
