I think a great deal depends on the fixtures. They should begin the season with a good attendance (maybe 8k), simply due to the fact of being back in SL. If they play (and possibly win) a couple of their early games, many of the 'fans' will continue to go. However if the fixtures see difficult games to start with, and possible heavy defeats, interest will soon decline.

I'd be expecting attendances similar to last time in SL initially, 6,500 - 7,000 mark. We got 4,027 last week with 20 away fans for example in just a standard league game. May not seem a lot to you guys but for Champ is a huge crowd. Already got about 3,500 people signed up for season tickets next year 8 months in advance too.

League position? Won't be able to make decent guess til seen side in action but hopefully as a new team anything from 10th upwards would be a great achievement.

To be honest I'm not fussed that they're back in SL. Since we upped our game under our current coach we have a more than healthy rivalry with Saints & Wigan.

This is just like an annoying terrier that tries to shag your leg for attention. An annoying and irritating sideline to the important business.

Having checked, using the reading skills I picked up some years ago ( which have been very useful for examining the RL Challenge Cup Final match programmes these last two years ) , the WCC was on another thread but all the material is there, nonetheless.
