i absolutely love thewlis and crowther,, they both work their nuts off, thewlis was winding the crowd up, that cover tackle on litten where he randomly shot across to the other side of the field after that break, and smashed him on the last tackle, great vision.

Quite impressed with Vella, from the couple of games I've seen him in. He seems to be a calm and unfussy ref, who doesn't want to make it all about himself, unlike some I could mention (hint - mint cake). It felt like he got most things right last night, although the penalty against Dufty for apparently stealing a ball that never actually left his possession was a bit baffling!

I think the penalty against was given because the ref had so called tackle complete when he grabbed the ball back.. Maybe just giving the ball to May would have been a fairer decision. The right side defence does seem to have improved over the last few games & Tai is looking to be a future handful for opponents. As for Crowther ,i think he has made a difference ever since last season ,he is like a machine.
