| The Titans have offered Clark a 2 year deal starting next year, i think he might take it. If not and Widdop goes i'd make Clark one of our marquee players.

| I can see the Roosters making an offer now Friend has had to pack in. Clark taking off from DH and Tedesco backing up would be like how JT and Damien Cook have played for NSW recently.
I can't see us winning the big one with the way we play Clark at the moment. In the Cas game there were probably 2 occasions he took off from DH and there wasn't a player in PnB within 10 yards of him. That is all too common for us. A blind man on a galloping horse through thick fog could tell when DC is going to jump out of DH but most of the time we just stand, watch and admire.
Wellens wasnt exactly Ben Barba or Billy slater in attack but he was smart enough and put enough effort in to follow Cunningham and Roby and bagged plenty of tries off it.

If only we had an absolutely rapid young lad at the club who was a great support runner and had proved he could score a load of tries when he makes the team, we can only dream......... Oh wait.

He’s on enough money to be put as a marquee if required anyhow.

Roosters wouldn’t have the cap space and already have two good young hookers.

| Don't forget Clarke left Castleford, when Powell was there, for one or both of 2 reasons. More money, more success. I don't see anything different with this situation. I do think there would be some sort of fee though.

| I've got no problem with Clark going for some sort of compensation, if that's really what he and his family want for a few years. However, he'd do well to listen to Widdop's advice on the matter... this COVID business is around for a good while yet, even longer in Australia where the policy is closed borders instead of rapid vaccination. If his wife and baby don't settle or can't accept a couple of years without seeing family, then he could end up stuck on his own, unhappy in poor form and no access to his child. Hope he doesn't make a rash decision based on £££.
Of course, Widdop seems to be on the up now thankfully. Must have been tough though.

| I'd be happy for him to go and test it in the NRL if he wanted as he's more than earned that right. But i'd be absolutely gutted if he goes, as who the hell would we bring in as a replacement?? Danny Walker is a decent interchange hooker but he's not in the same class as Clark yet. Powell will have a lot of money to play with when he comes though as i'd say for definate, Widdop, J.clark, Inglis (obviously) are leaving.
Possibly Daryl Clark, Austin, Hill, Charnley, Lineham etc so he'll have money to hooefully recruit with and it's potentially a big turnover in players which isn't always a good thing.

Where you reading this, I’ve looked at NRL news and The Mole and I’ve not seen anything mentioned. I’d be very disappointed if he does go.

| All those in the know media sources told us Wane or McDermott were the next Warrington coach. When the news breaks we'll know what is true.
I do think we can easily match Gold Coast's financial offer using Austin's marquee spot; It's just a case of whether Clark wants to test himself irrespective of the money, and whether he thinks his wife and young baby can adjust.

| Some players have been great to our club and we can be supportive. Clark is one of those players. He owes us nothing. I’d love him to stay, likewise I would love our club to cut short his contract and assist him and his family should he wish to leave for a new challenge. I’m happy for him either way.
