The key thing for me is the way we upped our game in the last 8 mins after conceding the last try. That is how we should be playing, with that intensity and thought for the whole game. I can't believe we've just tried to coast it again after losing 3 on the row.

It's effort and desire for me and not the quality of the players. This is a problem but a problem that at least can and should be fixed.

FWIW Myler played well.

Don't know today's stats ,but previous years teams with the amount of ball we had would have scored 30 to 40 points.so problems all round.

Smith said about the arm wrestle and was, typically, dismissive. He did say that our attacking plays in their territory weren't where they needed to be. I think he's throwing us a bone, or something.
