Hull City are notorious but when I went there with Liverpool last season they were a right gang of girls in replica shirts and tiger face paint.
The Premier League has taken it's toll on their fanbase.

| Having been to the KFC Stadium a few times, I can honestly say I have never experienced trouble there other than Wirewoman being refused entry for being allegedly tired & emotional according to an over-zealous official type.
There was fighting at the GF this year between Saints & Leeds "fans" inside Old Trafford (don't recall that being reported...) and there were many idiots throwing the lights from the bambams hitting children with them, I've seen trouble outside Headingley caused by "football fans" but other than these the closest I can recall to being physically troubled at an away ground was having the car bounced by an elderly (female) fan at Post Office Road some years back.
As has been said, all clubs have a element - the real fans put them to shame with their approach to the family game.
Back on topic - people don't realise how physically big London is - travelling from where my brother lives in Forest Gate to The Stoop is a 20 mile journey taking at least an hour traffic or transport permitting. That's the same journey time every home game as it takes to drive from Warrington to the Galpharm & considerably more expensive. I would prefer to see Quins work more alongside the Union club & promote the two games together, I thought that would happen more when the two merged. Same story at Leeds with the Union side there too (with Henry's Paul & Fa'afili in their squad!)

I have never witnessed any violence what so ever on my visits to all of the other SL grounds and yes that includes both Hull teams. I also havent witnessed anything other than friendly banter between fans at the hj and wilderspool.

Are you a complete moron? So what happened to me and others a few years ago didn't happen and if it did it was only a minor incident? I am a proper pansy? An organised group of 20-30 Hull supporters (yes they were wearing shirts) had been taunting the Warrington supporters throughout the game, then left early and massed in that area on the small passage through to the car park. The stewards then attempted to form a cordon and split the two sets of supporters up, however as I walked through I was attacked from behind; luckily I am a hardy soul as what happened would easily have put most in the hospital. This Hull supporter was then arrested and charged as it turned out they were on bail for assaulting a WPC. Model citizen. There were plenty of women and children who could have been caught up in this.
It was only the action of a few people that stopped that night turning out to be a full scale brawl. I have never seen anything close to that happening at ANY other game.
Lest we also forget the Hull supporters invading the pitch at the Galpharm and ripping up the posts.
Just exactly what planet are you on?

So what football matches have you been to then that have ended up with two rival firms fighting then?

Quality sir, I laughed out loud in my office reading that last line.

| Obviously if you're not in a replica you're not a true fan and are probably just there to cause trouble.

Spot on mate.
Does make me laugh though when people turn around and say 'such and such spat at me/assualted my wife/stabbed my 6 year old when i was at Leeds/Cas/Wigan etc because of my shirt/colours.'
Ok Im not for one minute saying that people should feel threatende at the game, but if you remain anonymous outside there is less chance of any of the above occurring.

interstingly enough, the week after hull fc played warrington at wilderspool, we brought a large banner apologising to the rest of the rugby league game, yet 15-20 warrington fans decided to stand behind the majority of our fans looking for trouble, thankfully the police moved them out of the stand
it makes me laugh when people like yourself wear blinkers and choose not to look at your own clubs fans who well known for causing trouble

| Of course, the apology at Wilderspool made it all OK then didn't it. What those idiots did was give RL the worst possible exposure it could get on national TV.
After the incident Mark M refers to in 2005, I wrote to Kath Hetherington requesting the perpetrator get banned from the Stadium. I'm still waiting for a reply which doesn't surprise me in the least.

God almighty.
Tomorrow; Natters (who has severe psychological and gender related issues) denies the holocaust because 'they didn't see it'.

probably for the same reason you have tattoos, identity, the need to belong, a desire to be part of a movement or "clan". human behaviour basically. it's a uniform, a statement, a desire to conform/ not conform, to identify themselves as the same or different.
it's nothing to do with looking like their heroes really, not in most cases any way!
however to belittle someone for doing it is very traffic warden esque!
