Always disliked it, it could promote a sense of subtle relaxing to their privilege. I would much prefer to see them awarded the shirt weekly based upon form.'"
Brilliant. Maybe you should give the club the money they'll miss out on from printing names/numbers on shirts.

| I doubt that much money if any at all is made from putting squad numbering on shirts!
Money is made from the shirt itself.
The squad numbering may help promote the sale of the shirt I don't deny.

If, on the remote chance that you are right with all this stuff, have you considered that you are putting your apparent informant within the Club at risk of losing his or her job?'"
Tony Smith must be his informant as I would think that only he knows his team selection for next season and even then do you really think TS would discuss the team for the first game of next season yet, we should all just ignore RD's posts when they are this full of BS.
My inside contact says that Bridge is going to Bradford, we have signed Sam Burgess on massive money from his Bath contract and Koucash has won his battle over the salary cap and its been removed. Oh we also signed Jonathan Thurston and Greg Inglis hence the reason why we dont need Bridge (both were needed to replace the best stand off in the world, who only plays there when players are injured.
Total BS

| Perhaps I should have said hb just in case of the extreme unlikely chance TS gives him the 7 shirt.
I apologise to the pedantic posters on here.

As many as we got out of nick Fozzard after he missed about 3 seasons straight, then joined us , missed two games due to a rib cartilage issue, then played 20 years for St Helens (you're welcome)

He will be fine. A bit of superglue, a good pre-season and he will be as right as rain. Only concern is that he is a bit young for us, we don't normally sign players under 30.

| I was told (I know) by a ex non wire player in early June Agar was joining just a couple of days before he did I didn't believe him, his other offering being more plausible was that stand off was sorted for next season, according to the present rumour then that would seem to be Wheeler, knowing TS's rotation policy he would get a chance at half.

| Is there any video of Wheeler?
In the matches I've seen (not many) I can't remember him standing out or leaving me with memories.

I don't know if I've had one chocolate hobnob to many, but who or what is an "ex non wire player".
An ex-player who isn't made of wire?
A wire player who used to be nothing and is now an ex-nothing?
Someone how used to be your ex and happened to play rugby for someone other than Wires?
Do you mean a non-Wires ex-player? Not that it matters, we only accept rumours from bona fide sources these days such as the landlord of the Rodney and RD, thank-you.

Yes a ex (non wire) player, when I read it back it's poor grammar I should have put it better, a former/retired (ex) player, with no past connection to the club, as that's usually asked, even so it was a genuine conversation about all things wire, wire meaning anything management or player related, he would not be drawn into giving a name I suppose for ethical/personal reasons, so once again I stand corrected it was more of a chat than a rumour, thanks for the tip I will steer clear of the Landlord's and RD's domain, some good posts though and in future will submit only superior rumours.
As for chocolate hobnobs how many is too many? wish I had some now with my hot chocolate, can't sleep nerves kicking in early most unusual.

I will look forward to your posts about all things wire from your chat just a couple of days before release with mucho gusto. Even though that information was already out in the domain at that time being printed up in Scotland on black and white paper, it still didn't stop his words talking to your hand, good on you.
I'm so glad your information was much more creditable and didn't at all duplicate what others had said weeks and/or months before, or had it?
I'm sure your ex non wire player rugby chat didn't have this more creditable info passed upon him via what is said on RLFans anyway.
"superior rumours" Is that is another example of your grammar? So it is no longer a case of is it a rumour or is it not?? Next time I'm asked how big is a hole? I'll be sure to send you a post for the answer....
Doh!

I am inclined to agree with the duck. Very little money made from it, more a case of it being cheaper as they only have to a few tailored shirts per player. This is why the Championship introduced them last year.
