However “packs win games”!

I was just having a little play after a few celebratory drinks, because GazWire kept his faith last year when the rest of us were broken during some pretty low times

Fair play.

But I also don’t want you to miss out RD, so yes, packs do win games. And what a pack that was.

I'll happily admit I was wrong if, DP proves he's the man to do the job.

I backed Ratchford and Currie all the way, I knew they were only struggling because they were doing more defensive work and support carries for being behind a beaten pack week in week out.

All the haters on basefook have gone quite.

At the end of last season, I thought the general consensus was that we needed to see a much different side and we would know after 6 weeks or so as to whether we looked on course to be competitive? Signs are really promising but let's see.

Let’s not be getting carried away. We were good but that was the worst Leeds side of my lifetime. Let’s review after 10 games.

I think after the Easter games is a good point to review how good, bad or indifferent we are. Fingers crossed its positive.

We also have to see if we have developed grit and resolve when things are not going our way etc.

I think Huddersfield will be a stern test. They've got an established squad and a good coach who proved to be one of the top sides last season, so I think we'll get a better picture on Friday. I'm certain it'll be a close game, though we'll have to address the 2nd row issue (as someone mentioned) as Huddersfield have quality in this position.

I hear too that spaces on coaches are going fast - hopefully a good sign that fans are (understandably) feeling more enthused than last last season.

The club aren`t running any coaches to Away games this season, and that is probably why other people that still are, will see a bigger demand.

I understand that last season with the team`s poor performances, that the uptake for the club`s coaches would have diminished considerably, and for some games I have been told they were half empty.

However, a lot of young fans start attending away games by travelling by coach, and they are the fans of the future. (I started this way)

The club need to rethink their strategy.

We’ve fallen a little lucky I think playing Hudds away in their first game of the year. They will be a big step up from Leeds I think and will certainly not employ this ‘passive defence’ thing that Leeds seem to be trialling. They have a good pack, will be interesting to see the head to head.

Half way up Winwick Rd before the earnest strains of "stop the bus, we want a wee-wee" were heard.

Going to Huddersfield on the train is not so bad, assuming they not on strike ofc.
