| Hills anchored well. As you would do as a presenter. Never shown he is a wire pdrl player himself.
Commentary was good. A couple of the non incidents like curry levelling the Leeds winger were kind of annoying that they were playing it up as a major incident and there was something coming.
Tomkins and price were good explaining things. Give them some time and it will be a good polished broadcast.
The Leeds lass. The Danica person. Openly bias. She didn't really add much to the broadcast. As did Mrs myler. I thought she was the reporter. I thought she was the sky equivalent of jenna Brooks. There was nothing. The questions were tame. And cringy.

| Loved the coverage today, I'm glad we won and also that the game was a good advert for RL as well.

| Was really good coverage, didn't take itself too seriously almost as if they knew the product would sell itself, and it did - I suspect C4 will be delighted with what they saw.

| Thought the coverage was very good and bless the presenters, it looked freezing. The commentary duo worked really well together not foisting their opinions on the viewers, Amor was particularly good, could string a sentence together and was informative. The 2 coach interviews were a lot better as well they both offered more than in Sky interviews and looked a lot more relaxed. Well done the C4 team, a well executed first effort. Will Amor be part of the team next week as it is Saints or will it be a different person each week?

| C4 made a good start on both the presenting and commentary front. I didn't find myself being irritated as I do with Sky's commentary team, as someone has already remarked, less is more.

| Sky have needed a total refresh of the punditry team for a while now. FAR too many voices when one will do, as Ch4 have shown. Really impressed with Amor too.
Bravo ch4
On another note....Helen Skelton's question to Agar about "Doing his hair for the game"... Curious thing to bring up totally out of the blue. I get that she was trying to be funny, but totally missed the mark, and it looked like it took Agar by surprise too.

| I thought the coverage was brilliant, loved all the presenters. They were funny, explained the rules and things that were happening etc genuinely enjoyed it. I thought Amor was good aswell and i didn't have to sit and try to decipher what he was saying like JJB on Sky.

| Yeah JJB was dreadful the other night. Couldn't understand a word he was saying. What a turn off that would be for any new viewers watching on Sky.
Bill Authur is also terrible as their main commentator. He constantly gets players names wrong. Or fails to catch up with play as somebody is making a break down field and there is a pause before he works out who is running with the ball. During the Wigan game, he commented on the scoreline at the Cas - Salford game and said it's not going well for new coach Lee Radford. But failed to mention that it was going well for Salfords new coach Paul Rowley!

What the hell is he doing ANYWHERE NEAR a microphone, is beyond me. Seriously, you need an interpreter.
Pryce is poor. I watched the opening few minutes of the Championship game on Monday. Typical [idaft [/i Northerner.
I'll watch the C4 games when I can, subject to work/golf, but I'll avoid punditry..... I do anyway.
As I've said on another thread, I was impressed by Amor. He was very good. Didn't sound like your typical RL player, and avoided the usual clichés. A rare breed, a pro talking sense. Already the best co-commentator in RL history. To be fair, it was a low bar, to start with. I wonder who'll do it on Saturday, with Amor playing. Kevin Brown seems OKish

| Just read that C4 coverage got an average audience of 531,000, peaking at 750,000 for the last few moments of the game.
Not sure what Sky get but that sounds good to me for a Saturday afternoon.

| Just a word of warning to the many Sky critics.
Some need to be careful what they wish for.
Had it not been for Sky, RL would be nowhere near where it is today.
There is so much negativity towards Sky at times I dispair.
Sky has given me the opportunity to watch far more RL than I could ever have imagined since the inception of SuperLeague.
Decades, yes decades.
I dont agree with everything they do or with some of the presenters comments BUT thanks Sky for all you've done and are doing.
Not everyone who supports RL lives close to their team, making it impossible to see all but a few games each year.
Live RL is great so thank you again Sky, and welcome on board C4.

“ RL would be nowhere near where it is today.”. Where is it today? A small, struggling minority sport played mainly in small towns in the north of England. With a 40% reduced TV deal, no magazine programmes and no promotion. Yeh thanks Sky.
