| Just got back, my first full u19's for quite awhile and worth going, Hull looked overall the bigger and older side causing most damage close to the line, wire deserved the win with a very good second half.

| Yes, this was a really tough match for the U19's. Hull had two very big and impressive forwards in Silk and Marquez-Laynz (I think those are the correct names) and they caused a lot of damage close to our line. Their kicking on the last tackle was also very good, although we didn't help ourselves with some of the positioning. But in general we had a bit more flair than they had, and towards the end Hull were starting to flag. However I think for me the most important aspect of the win was the fight and determination that the young lads put into the game. They could easily have gone down to a loss as Hull had a 10-14 point lead on a couple of occasions in the game, but they came back fighting each time and when our backs did find some space, they really punished Hull.
Livett had a good game, he forced his way over in the corner for his first try, then made a lovely break 40 yards out for his second. Jack Johnson also got on the score sheet when he collected a poor kick to touch by Hull, then ran around the defensive line before bursting through a couple of tackles and finally outpacing the wing to score under the posts. Finally the scoring was completed by Foggin- Johnson, who seems to be full of confidence atm. He squeezed in at the corner for his first, then made a lovely mazy run close to the Hull line to put the ball under the posts for the deciding score.
From the other players I think I was impressed by little Bob Holroyd who seemed to have a long stint on the field and sapped the energy of the Hull players with some bullocking runs. He was also a rock in defence and got through a fair bit of work. I think we would have lost this match without his contribution because we have a relatively young squad. Pat Moran (prop) looked good, particularly as he has only just turned 17, and it was good to see an even younger prop in Jack Dulhanty (17 in August) getting some time on the field as well. If these two continue to develop they are going to be a real handful in a couple of years.

| Thanks Winslade, sounded like a tough, close match! Think I m right in saying Hull had only lost once before today,so sounds like they dug in and got a good result!
All the usual suspects scored again, harvey seems to be improving every week and like you say foggin-Johnston is playing with confidence, sounds like another worldy aswell from fb Jack johnson
No mention of Morgan smith,he can't seem to impose himself yet at this level! Should come good though! Pat Moran always seem to make things happen and looks one to keep an eye on!
Looking forward to Huddersfield next week

| Big thing today for the team is that there were seven first year 16-17 year old players for Warrington against only two from Hull. You can see this in the collision at times but it will benefit the squad enormously in the next two years.

| Was a great win today against a tough Hull side especially considering the age group of the lads that were playing, our team consisted of mainly 16/17 year olds!
We scored some good tries at important points in the game,Pat Moran had a another good game along with Harvey and Bob holroyd made good yards,You are right LJWire it was another worldy by Jack Johnson,he caught the ball on the full before it went into touch from around 15 m out and run the full width of the defensive line and burst through the centre and winger and then blitzed the full back and chasing defenders before scoring under the posts!!
They looked like a team today but still one or two unforced errors and daft penalties but all in all this result and performance will give them a lot of confidence going into next weeks match against Huddersfield

Match Report:
warringtonwolves.com/u19s-fight- ... -hull-7920
Not trivialising our boys effort in any way but it was two very evenly match teams, just our extra will to win saw us home.
We had 7 first year players and Hull FC had 6 so both sides can hopefully look forward to a bright future

So it wasn't such a big thing after all another conflicting comment from your good self, I suggest you leave the reporting to the official channels instead of providing duff information.

| It was a comment not a match report.
And still a big effort regardless for a young team as others above and as Briers says in his comments.

I suggest you leave your comments to the official channels are yours are very mis leading from hearsay, just like your u19s v saints comments , a lot of fans are interested in how the academy performs and not listen to hearsay after the match which you have on previous occasions.

| Not that easy to work out specifics whilst at the games with the information available tbh, but the point was to be positive about the development at Warrington and nothing else. We should be pleased that there is interest in the Academies here as at some other clubs they can be somewhat ignored.
Doesn't alter the fact that with a young team they pulled out a victory against the current league leaders and that is notable.
In other games last week both St Helens and Wigan won which I suspect now puts Wigan on top (although the table is not up to date on the RFL site).

| Sounded like a good game and plenty of potential on both sides
Looks like we missed the influences of Jansin Turgot, Jordan Abdull and Reece Dean in the 2nd half. Dean is our starting scrum half and has completely outplayed Harry Tyson-Wilson this year (who is meant to be the next big thing)

| Looking at League Express Wigan are on top with sixteen points with Warrington on eight points but with two games in hand. Huddersfield are also on eight points albeit having played one more game.
Checking the fixtures Warrington have a good chance of climbing the table over the next month.
