Is this an indication that Ben Evans is staying at Wire this season?

It might reflect the unknowns around the prop position in the lead up to the new season. How will England's shoulder hold up, will Woody be fit, how will Asotasi settle in, will Riley step etc etc. Evans has had almost a full season at Bradford and a World Cup so in a sense has more SL experience than Riley or England. Makes sense for him to be with us at least to start the season.

I thought Ben had a pretty good WC in a very poor welsh team, and I'm delighted he's gone - I really hope this is the catalyst for a good season from him. In terms of all-round physique he actually looks as good a prospect as Riley to me, and probably has better footwork so I hope he has a good year in wires colours.

Apparently they have only been signed for a 4 week loan so far to cover the Bradford warm up games.

I'd presume Bradford want to take a look at them before they take them on a longer term basis.
