I though Silverwood was absolutely garbage again. Huge call leading upto Charnleys try in the first half causing at 12 point swing. Let the warning carry on over half time then sent Withers off for something wigan do every 6 or 7 tackles..

The standard or refereeing is getting worse and Silverwood is a prime example of somebody who should be dropped but can't be because of the small pool of refs available.

He seems incapable of marshalling the ruck area which leads to players getting frustrated and despite helpful markings on the pitch cannot keep the teams the requisite 10m apart.

I have no issue with Withers getting yellow carded, but Wigan did a similar thing several times and got away with it. Maybe O'Loughlin should have got 10 minutes for the tip tackle. That was the most dangerous offence of the night and Mr Silerwood didn't even speak to him.

Not at all, I quite like coming on this board and know a couple of the posters. But when someone posts a running commentary of anti Wigan garbage it makes me chuckle.

Was the third umpire from the Ashes match the guest video ref? Only a total incompetent would agree with the video ref that Charnley had scored. Perhaps you just have to hit the corner flag with the ball to score in future, and ignore the "whitewash".
The call for a forward pass could have been forgiven had they called several other more obvious forward passes. Ruined the game for me, and HKR no doubt.

Thought Silverwood had a good game tonight tbh. The Charnley try was debateable for the grounding but the place in which he put the ball down on the corner flag is okay.
