This has been obvious for years.
How could they fit Gary Broadbent, Mark Gleeson, Jamie Thackray, Jamie Rooney and Ned Catic all under the salary cap.

Barrow did it to get promoted in 2008 and then get in a posistion to apply for SL for 2012 where they were stupid is they should have stopped once won the league in 2009 and focussed on other areas of their side, yet they continued to overspend with 'brown envelopes' won nothing else, not developed as a club and after being caught are now back to square one. |

How do you know what happened? Is it an educated guess, a bit of poetic licence, 'we all knew what was going on,' or is it something you've just made up?
No-one apart from Des, and those at the Hearing know what happened yet. just wait until the truth comes out next week. |

So after Wigan got the 6 point deduction for the initial salary cap breach (for using a practice which is now common place across the league), and then systematically broke the salary cap for the next 4 years?
Nah, didn't think so. |

Yed, that's exactly what I've put in my post. It will be very interesting to see what has happened. With Des being banned from any involvement within RL for the next eight years it may be also something more than SC problems. It's all very intriguing. |
