Society as a whole is going backwards, forget <insert club>, people seem less able to behave at a mass gathering of anything.

When some despot finally decides to push the button and wipe us all out will he really be doing the world a disservice?

so the fact is that come sunday you will have to see these idiots again if im correct. What you should do is contact the secretary of the club and make it known that you are far from happy about the disgraceful way some of the others behaved. Don't know what will come of it though?

It seems some of them didn't observe the minutes silence either! Credit to the saints fans who kept quite but there seemed to be a lot of noise coming from the wiganers behind the sticks, disgraceful!

Caused by a group of [apparantly] Hull KR fans dressed as Roman Soldiers.

Had some Wire fans behind us in the heavens of the North-East stand wearing Saints scarves, they were rather quiet all night.

there's always a minority who cloud the reputation of most rl fans. it's really bad to hear that, but some of my friends from saints
who went to the game said the wigan fans as a whole (99.99) were superb.

whoever the plonkers were from whatever club should be ashamed for spoiling the minutes silence. No doubt caused by too much booze...maybe a 3 pm kick off would be the answer so fans would have less time to get pished ,but that will never happen unless sky decide to change their schedule.

Me and 3 others attended the game wearing our Wire tops..Went into the city centre,Sam Platts bar near the ground and then on to the match..

All in all had a great day good banter with both sets of fans..Got the odd W***Y Warrington chant thrown at us but i expect that now and when you laugh it off they soon stop...

Didn't see any major trouble just a few being ejected from the Saints end...

The kids coach was the person who arranged the day and he sat there throughout and didn't say a word. Probably had something to do with the fact that they took that much alcohol with them they could have supplied a supermarket. The drinking started on the coach that had been supplied by the RFL and continued out of sight of the police by the canal for 4 hours or so before the game. So I think my next stop will be a phone call to the RFL.

i went wearing my wire top just had a laugh with most fans. same got the odd y warrington but that happens every game so just laugh it off. what happened to you is disgraceful should take it up with the club.

Yeah we had the same, but thats just banter and what I expected by wearing our colours. We had a great chat with some Hull KR fans who even nicknamed my kids Moz and Carvell. What I didn't expect was the morans from our own club intimidating me and two 11yr olds so much that we felt we couln't watch the game or return home on the same coach. Also the people dressed as Roman soldiers didn't have yorkshire accents.

real shame that. no one day should be ruined by some idiots who spoil our game

I am disgusted for you - mainly because kids are involved. We seem to have lost that final bit of manners that was clinging on - the 'not in front of the kids or elders' bit. It makes me very sad.

Why do people not see that it is just sport?

I was running in the Steve Prescott challenge and had my Wire shirt on to begin with. Got a few friendly banter type comments at first but had a laugh about it - most people wishing me luck and challenging me to beat Offiah. A couple of idiots went too far though so I decided to nip to my car and change before I ran. Running a mile is enough for me to deal with at one time

I have to say I was in the Fanzone from about 2pm and the volume of fans was amazing. The volume of drunken fans quite worrying. But most were having a good laugh.

we was putside the ground drinking b4 the game and was stood right beside some wigan fans trying to fight with the police who werent even wearing their club colours ! all i can say is typical wigan and dont really expect anythin less from them ! in due respect i do get on with some wigan fans grand but the idiots outweigh them big time ! they even spoilt the minutes silence as all the noise we heard came from the wigan end !

Sorry to hear that, shame there is always a few idiots to spoil it. I went on a double decker warrington transport bus with few other wire fans aswell as leigh, wigan and saints fans. All just had a laugh singing songs about each other and getting this Saints fan to sing Queen songs because he looked like freddie mercury. (He refused to sing we are the champions after the game for some reason ) I was more fortunate that you and your children and fans just laughed at me and my mate singing Warrington songs when we got in.
Quite a few people didnt seem to be handle there drink it seemed to kick off on a few occasions further across the West stand but the Stewards didnt mess about and kicked them out straight away. Just a few rows in front of me, a couple of drunk idiots tried kicking off with a fan because they claimed he was sat in there seat, which he wasn't.
