Well today's games showed me that HKR are miles ahead of us. Wigan were impressive too, for at least 50 minutes. Saints are utter bilge. Only started playing once Wigan got tired. They'll still give us a game next week, which shows me that the other two are ahead of the pack. 

Wigan and Hull KR are miles ahead. They have better squads, better attack and defence and are better drilled. 


As for Saints, bilge or not, they : 


1. Gave Wigan a game (something we couldnt do last outing)


2. Are 2 points and plenty points difference above us is the league. 


I cant, in good faith, call Saints bilge after watching us vs Hull FC last week. That really was bilge. 

Lose tomorrow we drop to 9th, would not have believed that after last season but then again like you said we are Warrington.

That's a sobering thought and a run of tough games to follow too. 

Enjoyed the hull v kr game my only gripe is that a game lasts 2 hours cos of endless video ref views on trys and captains challenges

How have they still got video ref at the Leeds game but we have no pictures. 

Agreed. I'm all for getting the right decision but, they take so long, and then only get half of the decisions right in the end. It's all going mental again.

Enjoyed the Leeds v hull kr game,it's obvious as to who'll finish runners up behind Wigan in the league and grand final..and it won't be leeds

Huddersfield are God awful.  

I was enjoying it too on Now TV then got the "technical error" then Sky just started showing adverts, then I gave up. 


Amazing to think that Hull KR finished flat last in the league in 2020, then 6th in 2021, 8th in 2022 under Tony Smith.  Also rans, making up the numbers.  


Then the money landed and so did Willie Peters in 2023. Made the CC final and semi finals of the playoffs in 2023,  in 2024 made the CC semi finals (losing to Wigan) and the GF (also losing to Wigan). 


Signs are in 2025 they will make both finals. Progression from also rans to genuine title contenders. Exciting time to be a Hull KR fan. 

Shows what can be done in a short time frame when the recruitment, coaching and organisation are all on point. 

Getting the right coach is key. Peters is bang on for Hull kr and Hull FC have the right man for the situation they were in with cartwright. I'm sure there are better technical coaches around but he was exactly what was needed at Hull FC.  I know people laughed when myler took over as DOR at Hull but he's done an excellent job in his first few months. Recruitment has been spot in and the backroom operation has transformed. Still a long way to go but the culture change in such a short space of time has been amazing.

I'm not sure that Burgess was ever the right man at wire.  A massive gamble which doesn't seem to be paying off
