where did you get him/her from?
was it a registered breeder?
how much did you pay, if you dont mind me asking?'"
I got him from a lady in Latchford way. She has a male working dog and a female which she uses for breeding, both KC registered.
Think I paid £375 last year which was a decent price at the time although he never came with docs as he wasn't registered and to be honest, we weren't bothered about that, we only wanted him as a pet and the wife only wanted a Cocker, so job's a good 'un.
He's a lot like his dad, lean and long, like a working dog and unbelievable energy.
I still have her number if you want it. Whether she has any pups at the moment I couldn't tell you.
The mother in law paid over £600 for hers, a champagne cocker with all the docs almost a year before we bought Ollie, so as you can see the price we paid is much lower without docs.
Here's Ollie not long after we got him with the mother in laws. Ollie is now bigger than the mother in laws.

Lovely.
They seem to be a very popular dog now, the Cocker.

Yes.
He's great with kids, all he wants is fussing. He's very timid around other dogs as well.

| We had one but had to get shot of it because it was nasty towards the kids and kept humping everything in sight. It would only behave for me.
The new owners ended up chopping his balls off.

Yep, I'm sure Ollie is more working dog than normal Cocker. As you say, his hair doesn't seem to be as long as normal and the mother in laws and sister in laws (yes, she has one too) are both stockier around the back than Ollie.
When we were at Southport, we were out for over 4 hrs walking along the beach upto Ainsdale and he was chasing everything, his frisbee, birds whatever. Was hoping to get back and have a quiet night, he wanted to play football and wrestling. He's unbelievable energy.

Ive had loads of dogs mate, Red Setter, Border Collie, Shiz Tzu, Yorkshire Terrier and a Ridgeback, thinking of getting a West Highland Terrier soon.
Border Collie has to be the best out of them.

We had to do that to out previous dog (mongrel). He wanted to fight or hump every dog he came across until we had his knackers off. After that he was a changed animal, not unsurprisingly.
