I'm glad someone mentioned Wrench; I'm also rooting for him. He is exactly the sort of centre people say they want to see - mesmerising footwork, puts his winger away - but they bottle it if that player misses a tackle or two.

Presumably why he was dropped by Burgess after round 8 (or was that another injury?). He is into his 6th season following debut and has played 38 games. This year is a big one for him to cement a place and a new contract.

Here's hoping that they can both stay fit and keep progressing, because if they fulfil that potential they could form an outstanding centre partnership for years to come.
