Agree with this. Also Penny has far more potential than Chris Riley, and over time will prove to be the better player.

Penny certainly is the future, a near future.
I would personally get him on loan to Widnes for a month or two.
Its no good him just playing in the reserves each week.
He needs heavier contact.
The slightly slower speed levels will give him time to develop his kicked ball retention.

Riley, a guy who's head is firmly upon his shoulders and at home walking down Densham Ave and sharing a chat over a brew at Brunchies.

As for the comaprison between Riley and Penny...?
Riley is an all-round solid performer with who has a quick footballing brain with bags of pace to burn that very very few players can deal with.
Penny however has pace with an extra gear that nobody can deal with!

I totally agree with that statement......Penny hasn't been allowed to develop in the first team environment.....and I do feel he was scapegoat for some issues the team had early on in the season.....

I wish Penny luck now he is on a months loan at Widnes....
