Gutted he’s going, but if you look back at all the champion teams of the last few decades, they’re the ones who have the balls to let go of their star players at the back end of their careers. The money then gets spent more wisely. I don’t know where we are going to find a replacement but two years for Hill on a big salary isn’t a sign of a new mindset at Warrington, which is what we are all hoping for. Let’s give Powell the benefit of the doubt and the chance to build something new.

Price has simplify never rated him has he, in 4 years he’s only ever had 7 minute cameos when there’s literally no one else available. Truly bizarre situation all round, why was he signed and why has he never been given a proper chance? Weird….

Tony Smith signed him didn't he (although Price extended his contract). He only has 7 minute cameo's because he simply can't play any longer without blowing out of his backside.

IMO our best ever prop of the super league era. Im sure we have a replacement lined up and we must give Powell and the club the benefit of the doubt. Whoever comes in to replace him has huge boots to fill.
