Well he’s done the job we needed him to. We needed another body while Austin was injured and Patton needed more recovery after Wembley.

How well that’s been is another matter but he’s stood in as a squad member.

By losing we effectively give Salford 3 points....2 points for the league a securing 3rd with an increased healthy points difference over Pies and FC.
....and maintaining our phantom point over Salford with our better points difference.

So effectively if things remain the status quo, we play Salford at home in the 1st qualifying round.

Better that than Pies or Hull at home I think.

Things won’t remain the same though, I’d say Wigan are nailed on for second now.

The league points is a lie into the gulf of difference. You can't see the woods for trees. A more meaningful representation than league points is goal difference this season...even so, still a huge gulf.

Wembley aim has skewed the results for Warrington, but not the class and strength with ability in the team...it exists, it always has.

That has to be the most absurd thing I’ve read and surely if there’s no difference between between Wigan and London (quite clearly there is a huge difference) then there’s also no difference between Warrington and London (again there’s a huge difference).
