We're in the semi, job done. We've come off the back of a physical game agaist Wigan, after which we always struggle, and basically clocked off at 50 mins and still won the game.

I have a fear we’ll be repeating these mistakes still in August and October. We’re not learning. We got suckered into a stupid niggly game tonight where it was totally unnecessary. We need to learn to play around all that nonsense. So many hands in players faces and necks and all over the ball and that clown in the middle let it slide, so you can kind of understand the players’ annoyance. But class teams, which we aspire to be, rise above it and carry on. Why are we still letting mediocre niggle jobs back into games?

as an fc fan, thought you were pretty poor in the discipline area tonight and kept inviting rovers into the game by missing touch from a penalty, losing the ball and giving away too many penalties.

Austin was poor, came up with his usual contribution of a couple of decent plays a game then went missing. Yet you still rely on him far too much. Go on the main forum and you’ll see others agree.

The game was always comfortablyin our grasp. Even after inviting KR back into the game...but hopefully we'll work in that area now.

Got complacent at 22-0 up, assumed the game was won and stopped respecting possession. I don't buy the idea that they were tired after all of the defending in the first half. We been having these 20 minute slumps during games all season and some of those tries conceded tonight were just pathetic.
