| Quote AS108="AS108"Wakefield coming second is the most ridiculous prediction I’ve seen. Their recruitment has been bang average at best.'"
I must be mistaken as I recall them being the first to defeat Saints in 2018 and getting pipped at the Bin Dipper Dome 34-30.
Wakefield finished 5th in SL and have invested in props. Something Saints haven't done, that being the biggest area of fail for Saints.

| We should dig out the 2017 predictions so we know who to listen to for 2018.

| I think he is like Beetlejuice, but instead of saying his name 3 times you just have to post something to suggest Saints won't be all conquering.

Oh well that must mean they’ll come second the season after, great logic. And investing in props is great but not when they’re George King and Craig Kopczak. And why would we need to invest in props when we have Alex Walmsley, Luke Thompson, Matty Lees, LMS and Luke Douglas? I’d be more worried about your own props, Lama Tasi is a comical signing.

Our props seemed to do a good job last time we played your lot.

| On SO'L, it's a game of opinions but I think some of the comments are way off the mark. He might not be right at the peak of his powers anymore, but he is a player that would walk into our side of the early-mid 90s and is very much in the class of Farrell or Sculthorpe. I think most Wigan fans of an age to have seen both would probably put Farrell as slightly better, but his all round play and effect on the team really is exceptional. Passes as well as any half back, runs and tackles as well as any prop. Not sure about this year, but if you look at our win % with him in the team & without in the last couple of seasons, the difference is ridiculous.
In terms of next season, I'm actually pretty concerned that next year will actually be your year! I can only see us taking a step back with Wane & key players leaving, and I don't think Leeds have players to make enough of a step up in one season. Depending on how they bounce back, I think you, Cas & Saints will be in the mix.
