| Anyone writing Roberts off hasn't seen him play when fit. He is one of the best halves in the world defo top 5/6 in the Nrl last year but because he hasn't hit the ground running and set the HJ on fire in his first few games lets slate him. It makes me laugh how people can be so accurate without any knowledge

| I think we're all aware of his fitness or lack of it.
My query is his inclusion in the team while his condition is closer detrimental than 'setting the HJ alight'...or any other ground for that matter.
That's why I'm pinning hopes that he's a Trent Barratt at worse.

| Quote The Railwayman="The Railwayman"I hope we are not going to end up with a top notch hooker having gone for a much needed halfback ala Monas and to a much lesser degree Sullivan.
Appreciate the lad still looks crocked and it is a new country, new club, new team (both for him and us), new management setup, new competition with different styles of play BUT I would like to see more glimpses of class than the odd nugget we have seen so far. The flopometer is still in the cupboard, will give him another month.
Really hope he comes good.'"
Do you mean Dwyer? And how does Sullivan fit into any sentence involving good players, unless as contrast?

| Perhaps I should have just left it with Monas, Sully was disappointing.

You can’t be talking about Barrett at Wigan, he was a sensation for us and certainly never looked lazy or overweight. Maybe I’m missing a joke.
If Tyrone Roberts (or any halfback in superleague) has half as good a season as Barrett did for us in 2008/2009 he’ll be going very well.

I think what was meant was that Barrett was good even though he didn’t quite reach his NRL reputation.
So if Roberts can look half as good as what he did in he NRL we’ll have one of he better half-backs in the league.

| I meant Trent Barrett alright.
Yes a sensation, well very good for sure....but when he first arrived he was out of shape, and there was plenty unhappy pies for a period.
That's where I make the comparison...I hope Roberts is the Wire version of Barrett.

| Can he currently get any poorer.
One or 2 half decent kicks but Rocket Rodwell had more heart that Roberts is showing presently.

| shocking Performance by Roberts part from a couple of kicks. Why do people keep mentioning when the pitches get firmer he will come in to his own , when the business end of the season the pitches ain't great, he hasn't shown much at all

| What I've seen of him, he's pinching a living.
And the great minds of NRL were gutted that he was coming here ...taking the slash.
Grounds firming up? This joker (because that's what he is) is taking us for a HUGE ride. He could play touch rugby on an athletics running track, and he'd still be taking the pee..Firm grounds my ar53
I can spot a fraud a mile off. Like putting a Woollie's picture of the Mona Lisa, over a Widnesian's fireplace, and expecting people to say "is it the real thing"

| Like barba and sandow before him give him time. Both barba and sandow looked woeful in their first 5/6 games. I wanted MUCH more from him tonight but lets give him a few more weeks eh? He's an attacking player and for the rest of the team that's clearly a work in progress.
