Ben Harrison: knee ligaments
Chris Bridge: ankle
Two of our most influential players. Funny that.

Were these caused by cannonball tackles? If so do you know when in the game roughly?

| Quote mark_m="mark_m"McIlorum is a hateful little ***** who is inexplicably rated by some within the game.
Can't stand the way Wigan play the game as well, all started with Maguire and clearly Wane has the same coaching manual.
Funny how many players get knee and ankle injuries playing against them.....'"
I like the way they operate with ball in hand, organised but creative. But I echo your sentiment regards their tactics without the ball. But they are essentially doing something which all teams aim to do - slow the play the ball down and control the ruck, they just do it better than most, sometimes with tactics within the rules, sometimes borderline.

Wigan seemed to have cleaned up the third man in late chopping at the joints but it appears to be back now with a vengeance. Shocking that something is being done on the field that can injure a fellow professional.

It's almost as if Paul Wood hadn't assaulted a Wigan player unprovoked.

Was that the one where three Warrington players held the Wigan player and Wood beat him with a crow bar from behind

| I have to say the Wood v Pettybourne "biff" was rather lame; I think they both got sin-binned so they could go and find a mirror to practice their timing against. My mother shows more raw aggression every Sunday finding her favourite pew at church.

| Walmsley sent off for Saints v Hudds for the kind of tackle McCollorum would blush about. RL disciiplinary panel really need to get a grip because we now have another player (Luke Robinson) being helped off the field, and yesterday of course Laithwaite exiting on a stretcher.
RL has always been the toughest sport on the planet, but also the most honest, and that needs to be preserved.

I don't think so Suzy woozy... it was two blokes looking each other in the eye, one giving the other verbals and coping one on the chin for it......... that is not assault on a rugby league pitch, you should know that having played the game yourself.
I know all the lads I played with would have no problem someone looking you in the eye and letting you have a taste...its honest..harsh and brutal........ but honest.
getting one late high and while your back is turned, or 3rd man in and low at the knee joint is not honest its a cheap house tactic and its a well known Wigan Tactic....
Wigan Used to be famous for playing the best brand of Rugby League in this country now they aren't.

| These are the worse set of officials I've ever seen.
We have video technology, and they still fluff it up
They're "looked after" better than they've ever been (in terms of meetings/training/pay), and they still fluff it up
They have an extra 2 officials, when TV cameras aren't there, and they still fluff it up.
At times, I pine for the days of
Thompson
Lindop
Whitfield
Campbell
(I hate myself for typing that).
I HATED these b@st@rds with a passion, who were some of the most corrupt onanists you'll ever see, but, when bungs weren't given, they refereed well.
Today's lot are just plain incompetant

| Thing is, coaches and players have clearly cottoned onto the fact that the officials seem prepared to let almost anything go in the name of speed of the game and are, frankly, criminally abusing it to the detriment of the product. Watching some teams it's hard not to think they spend all their training time working out how to milk penalties, steal an advantage, push their luck and basically, cheat as opposed to actually honing skills.
T'wasn't always thus.

| ....another huge fluff up in the last minute
Stains player goes for a dg, get's charged down (which nullifies offside) and Silverwood....well, you can guess the rest.
