| Quote: Gaz_E "Depends what you're drinking. I think Brooklyn in the most expensive at £4 a pint - but they've said it's really expensive for them to get it in. I'd expect normal town prices.
They're open Tues-Sunday at the minute. Might look at opening on Monday's too if there is the demand. They've got a facebook page that they'll be updating daily - and the website is rl9 Gallonrl'"
Brooklyn? Superb!
But I'm not drinking at the moment unless it's some kind of ocassion. As the next one is my birthday, then I guess it will be 4-5 weeks before I try it.
Not fussed about this drinking lark anymore, finally realised it's not all it's cracked up to be. Plus I'd rather not waste a day of a weekend in bed recovering.

Goodness me, what a lot of "dry" wires fans we have on here. I too gave up the grog three years ago on the advice of my mother, irate neighbour, local constable and solicitor.
Maybe us teetotal wire fans could open a wires-themed beverage shop. We could call it "Tea-Cocoa-Love"
Arf, arf. Such wit @ 11:30PM when I should be tucked up in bed in my winnie-the-poo onesie.

| Went in after the game last night, we'll impressed! Eight cask ales on tap and the lad behind he bar was very knowledgeable, offering a few samples. Will definitely be going back!

| It may be worth getting a list of all the pubs/clubs people use and listing what each has on tap, use it as a guide for home and away fans

| Tried it for the first time, last night.
VERY cramped, and that was only at 6:30
£2.50 for a pint of 4.8% stuff which was ok.
However, the present Mrs Goldblatt was accompanying me, and the large wine she had (which wasn't exactly huge) was an eye-watering £4.70. OUCH
They don't sell brandy??????? WTF?
On the whole, I wouldn't avoid the place by any means, but I don't think I'll be sprinting back. Give me Wilkies Tavern (yes, I know this place is run by a Wilkinson) any day

| I went in on Friday. It's only small in there but was packed. I'm not much of a real ale drinker so just got a pint of Brooklyn as it was too busy to be messing around asking questions and trying stuff out. The barman apologised for it being £4.20 but I knew that's how much they were.
Like Lefty, we were in there around 6:30ish.

That's the way it's going. I was charged £4.80 for a Peroni in the Rams Head last year.

That is ridiculous for a generic lager, I think £4.20 is fair enough for Brooklyn though, supply and demand.
