I agree with this to a certain extent. The people you are referring too are very annoying at games, especially the ones who stand with their backs to the match on their phones in an attempt to impress the 14 year old girls they bring with them. But on the other hand like others have mentioned, the clubs needs it in terms of the financial side of things.

Aren't you one of the "missing"?
Pretty sure I read a post from you saying you wasn't attending the Hull game.

| Quote Uncle Rico="Uncle Rico"But that's the balance isn't it? The aim from the club's point of view is surely is entice in people (old and new) on discount, they enjoy the product and return full price. Not fill the ground every week with people paying a fiver as it's not sustainable?
Ok tweak the price/discount the percieved pooer games to boost the figures, but, that too can be counter productive as the poorer the product (and it takes two to tango) the less likely you will return.
You know all this anyway'"
Indeed you can't devalue the regular pricing but a few more deals wouldn't go amiss. Get the absentees back through the turnstiles and hopefully tie them back in.
Not sure the club has that marketing information to hand though.

| one thing that has always confused me is the fact that the club charge the same amount to watch a game against Wigan as they do to watch a game against London Broncos. Why cant we have Category A games and Category B games like in football with different prices to try and bring more people in to the so called smaller games. because the price is why people have started to pick and choose which games they go to. if we play a so called small game nowadays a lot of fans will think, easy game runaway victory ill give this one a miss and save 20/30 pound +

I think that is a very good point. They have categories for hospitality (well at least they used to when I did it last).

I remember a topic on here when we llayest Wigan away that was ridiculing such a suggestion as Wigan had done it themselves and we were charged something like 22 quid as it was a cat a game. Personally its gota be worth a further review if by the club as some games aren't worth asking price when atmosphere and attendance is hurt by lack of away fans.
One thing I want to know is.within which forum or method do we have to feedback such ideas go the club. As surely this is the only way things will get dealt with

| So what are the criteria for Cat A games?
I'll come up with original reasons, i'm genuine though what is the actual reason for Cat A games or is it just crowds?
Wigan (Best known, well travelled)
Saints (great tight games, the hoodoo)
Widnes (Natural rivals, nearest club)
Leeds (Biggest Yorkshire side)
Hull FC (If it's just based on away support, they travel well)

You missed Salford (comedy value) from your Cat A games.

Free exiles tickets on offer too. Hopefully some of our fans take up this excellent offer, clearly judging by this thread there are lots of strong opinions on this topic.

It sounds a good idea but lowering the price for some games may mean you get a few extra coming in but the club may still lose out financially.
Also, away fans would need to be charged a consistent price over the season. It's unfair that Wigan fans pay £20 for the West Stand but Wakefield pay £15. This would be hard to do given that anyone can buy a ticket in any stand for a Rugby game. The only way I could see to do it using my example above is all away fans pay £15. Cat A away fans would pay £15 if they were a season ticket holder and purchased the ticket from their own club and the other Cat A fans would have to pay the Cat A price.
I can't see it working really.
