Scoring 2 try's in a grand final victory against our biggest rivals makes him a club legend regardless of how things turned out. Him leaving Wigan was certainly handled in a better way then this Hock affair and unlike Hock Gleeson won a major honour whilst playing for the club. His signing will always be regarded as a good one in my book.

As for Hilton that was just one of those things. He'd had a lot of injury problems and he wasn't on a great deal anyway.

If Wood does sign I'd expect we've signed a solid pro. He'll do a job for us in that pack and add some experience. He won't win you games on his own but he won't lose them either.

It's easy for The Lord Tony Smith to say a player is not coming into the team so when he does its a great signing and a win win situation, however, should he say Woody is staying then its turns out he's going then it will be hard for him to win the fans trust back in whatever he says in the future.

I can't imagine seeing Woody playing in any other kit. I mean could you imagine Paul Cullen wearing a Widnes Tracksuit? Oh no.... Only joking "Woody is a Wire, Woody is a Wire....,,,"

I understand the "home town club", "great servant" stuff and perhaps better terms, but, agree that he should stay in our kit. Apart from still being able to do a job for us, why make your rivals stronger?
