Have you seen the prices? £40 for a seat when apparently for Wire fans in league games the same seat would cost £25. I grabbed a £20 ticket for standing behind the sticks and was told by the RFL guy at the time that it would be heaving behind there. I can't think why!

thats about an average price to Watch a Manchester United half strength side play the Massively famous and talented Otelul Galati in the Champions League. and 70 odd thousand wont bat an eyelid at those prices....
I honestly despair for the game of Rugby League with Fans that can not get interested in seeing not just the best Rugby players in the world but some of the finest sportsmen in the world.
its a privelige to see these players in person.

Of course an International match between the 2 best teams in the world is more expensive than a normal club game. Why would you expect anything else?

That cannot be the rationale behind the pricing policy though because I've paid the same amount to watch Aus-v-NZ from behind the sticks than I did to watch Wire-v-Saints and Wigan-v-Saints (CC semi) from the same spot. At the LSV I've treated myself to side on seats, at £30. But to charge £30 to watch England muller Wales at the LSV is steep, especially given that the RFL want us to go to Wembley this series! While I got a £10 cheap ticket from Wembley, the cost is in getting there.
On the one hand the RFL will want to cover its costs, and that's fair enough. But if they are asking fans to also go to Wembley then really they should have made the other venues more financially attractive.

| Taking any gripe about prices out of it what a game we'll see tomorrow. I got my ticket weeks ago as the chance to watch a competitive fixture featuring players like Slater, Smith, Marshall and the great Lockyer just 30 mins drive from my house is too good to miss. Some of the areas for games like the England vs Wales game or Wales vs Australia are overpriced but not this one.

Fair play to you going to all 3 games.

Hit the nail right on the head there. When do we get to see this quality of rugby league so close to home? There are so many great players on show! And not even Brisbane fans will get the chance to see Lockyers last few games. We are lucky! Well worth the money!

| I'm travelling home for this in the morning from Hull so three hours on a train. Really can't wait, as others have said its a privalege to watch players like Lockyer in my home town. Hope everyone has a great night and we see some brilliant rugby league.

| for those not convinced that this will be worth watching, I was at the stoop for the game a couple of years ago, and it was probably THE best game i have ever seen. Not just in rugby league, but in any sport. As a spectacle, these two sides can really put one on. i can't believe it hasnt sold out, but if you get the chance to see them go toe to toe, do it.
