Got me thinking, they aren't my heroes or anything, but I quite dig Torvill & Dean y'know, what they did in '84 was it. There's something sort of enchanting about what they did with the Bolero, telling a story and all that, just find it really captivating watching them and how they got to be the bestin the world, although I acknowledge that in getting for 11,000 attempts, this could be my gayest post yet, and there's been some pretty decent attempts so far.

Everybody of a certain age holds the Judge as a legend. Took on some of the best fast bowlers of all time and got runs in tough conditions on bad wickets. Also came over as a top bloke, according to a few players autobiographies he seemed to fall foul of the selectors because he was a big socialiser and could drink a lot, but he never caused any trouble or drank so much it damaged his fitness.

Another legend out of the same mould was Alec Stewart.

I used to like Mohammed Ali, although I was quite young at the time I may add..
