| In my opinion it was our try line defence which cost us in the end as some of the attempts to stop Hull KR players was poor to say the least, some of our players thought it was tick`n`pass on our try line with the amount of effort that went in. Its like an old problem has raised its ugly head again, we scored enough points to win the game but to concede 36 points at any level questions have to be asked, i thought the defence from both sides was fairly poor at times which reflected in how many points were scored in the game.

| Quote Mark="Mark"Or Cockayne, awful player. Just finished watching the re-run and Silverwood was worse than I thought, should have 2 pens for holding down after Vinnies try, the man is a useless tool, the RFL should have sacked him altogether, not saying we would have won the game but he was very harsh and I rarely if ever blame refs.'"
Think the shot on Dobson after the kick was a late by anderson, and for 90% of the game, warrington had hands in at the play the ball.
But it was a close game, dont think the ref dictated the way it went, could have gone either way

| Thought overall Rovers were very much the better team.
However Warrington did have quite a few chances to go ahead etc and but for some embarrassing refereeing the score could have easily been reversed in your favour. The refereeing for the whole weekend seem staggering in terms of how pathetic it was really anyway.

| Quote gary numan="gary numan"Bridge strengthend his case for the centre position, he's not a half back. Monaghan might have been busy but the quality of his passing is awful and has been all season. Despite our poor defence we would have won that with more quality from the half backs.'"
I thought his passing was far, far better yesterday. Much crisper, more accurate and finding his runners, at pace. I thought the left edge linked extremely well, our use of dummy runners, and finding a player hitting a hole behind a dummy runner was excellent.
I've said earlier, for me, easily his best Warrington game.

| I thought Monas was good when he didn't have to create anything. When the pressure was on, as usual he flopped and confirmed that he is actually not that good.

Oh god, sickeningly poor. Some of the kicks through, by Bridge, that dribbled to Briscoe made me cringe.
I don't think there's been a bigger Bridge 'fan' on here than me, but I'm totally in the 'he;s a right centre, who can fill in at stand off club' now. Some folk on here, mentioning no names, are adamant that Briers is no miss, Bridge can more than handle the kicking game duties etc, well, simply, he can't.

The thng that was most annoying was Monas technique, he really boots it but he gets underneath it too much and puts too much loft over distance.

| Summed it up for me when we were in their 20, last tackle play and bridge does a pooh kick when all it needed was a nice little delicate one behind the sticks, instead one bounce and for its out for 20 meter re-start.
Few minutes later, defending our own line, Dobson puts a neat kick in behind the sticks and therefore forces a drop-out, just summed it for me that. Briers back to stand-off, Bridge right centre ASAP

| Watched the match on Sky.
Nip and tuck all the way.
HKR did just about enough to win it based on their 2nd half perfromance, but we weren't bad at all a couple of the tries were excellent.
We missed Briers nouce on the last tackle - particularly the grubber kicks into the in goal area - and we panicked in the last 5 mins after scoring our last try.
Was actually quite impressed with the backs going forward and King seems to be growing in confidence every game at the mo.
That's the TS influence.
I was frustrated at some of the silly pens we gave away - Mitchell's 2 in particular.
Even without Morley te forwards did well - Carvell and Rau in particualr.

| Some daft pens conceded we eradicated this V Bradford and Hudds..
Poor kicking game...
We certainly missed the players we had on the sidelines..And we came up against a team in form and full of confidence....
As for Silverwood worst ref in the comp period...

| As a Rovers fan i can say it was not our best performance of the season and in the first half we were poor. Can't comment on Wire but you have obviously improved tenfold since early season.
Both sides had players unavailable but in Fozzard, Gene, Walker, Lovegrove and Cockayne ......all these would have have made the starting seventeen IMO so our list probably covers yours in this respect.
Had some good banter with a few Wire fans after the match and actually met the w@nkaer with the drum
Your support was first class and probably equal in numbers to ourselves as the most support in Edinburgh.....on sunday, anyway.
