| I predicted a 20-30 Tory majority. That'll take a mighty turn around in three weeks.

Latest BBC Poll of Polls - Tories 33%, Lib Dems 29%, Labour 28%.
On a uniform swing numbers of seats would be Labour 280, Tories 247, Lib Dems 94.
Go figure.'"
So do you think Super League should be decided by the team with the best points difference, or the team who wins most matches?

And have passed a certain threshold (threshhold?). Was discussed on PM last Friday.

Not the same, and you know it isn't.

Well as we all know, it is not necessarily either. Perfectly possible to win the SL and not win the most matches. Anyway, that said, I'm not not sure your analogy stretches either.

| Quote: Wires71 "I am now beginning to think that the Conservatives have blown it. Cameron's "wooly" big society vision manifesto then Clegg's superb performance in the debate.
'"
Problem for Cameron is I really don't think he can pull this around now, he is in a situation which Neil Kinnock got into in 1992, ie the public and even now a substantial part of the media is taking the mick out of him and in todays internet generation there is no escape.
Michael Gove was on Question Time straight after the debate and gave a far more assured performance than Cameron did. Yes he might not be in the mould of Blair for great speech making but he deals in facts and straight argument, and if he'd have been up against Brown and Clegg it would have been Clegg winning on style, Gove on argument, which would have been enough to keep the Tories ahead of Brown.
The sally cinnamon politico-predictometer foresees Gove v Jeremy Hunt running off for the role of Leader of the Opposition to the Blair-Clegg coalition government.

| Well this is the election of surprises. Labour needs something big to counter Clegg, someone who can stop the traffic IMO.
And remember what his mate Mandleson told the Labour conference...."If I can come back...."

| Clegg's star can only fall from it's current zenith. As mentioned once their EU policy gets air time the XFactor electorate will slowly fade away. Trouble is, he totally ed on Camerons chips as the voice of "change". Whatever that is.

| Apostrophes, please!
Is it foreign affairs this week? If so, then Europe will come up as will Iraq and Afghanistan. And defence/Trident. Hmmm.
