| Agree fatigue was a major factor for us today, also Leigh were much improved and fresh after a week off.
Think Harrison and Walker need a rest soon.
Surprised Vaughan didn’t play many minutes today and he seemed strangely subdued when he was on.

I also thought Vaughan was not his normal rampaging self, could have been the Leigh rush defence, or perhaps bit of sulking after being put on the naughty step/bench.
Couple of other thoughts; Toby King seemed to do an awful lot of work carrying the ball. Looked more of a BR than centre. Although he missed one tackle, his rushing out of the line to nail a player seemed to work well.
Powell impressed me, he is looking better each game and outshone Walker (for me anyway). I think Walker may have to up his game at this rate.
I can't believe how much work Nicholson got through and still have the energy to back up for a try. I hope he will extend his contract rather than heading down under.

When did Leigh have a week off think your on crossed wires crosswire
Great game, you got a bit of luck with that last try but that’s the way it goes - we all get the odd rub at some point, as a Leigh fan more than happy with that performance and play like that and the wins will come
Think Burgess has given you guys that bit of steel and determination, you’ve certainly got the players now hopefully getting the mentallity to go with it

Pretty fair assessment, I’d say.

Thank goodness for that.
I was questioning myself whether KR v Leigh did happen last week.

| For what it's worth, I think King played his best game yesterday since his return. It's telling that in his previous spell he was always on the receiving end of kicks to the corners but now seems to be more of a 'hard yards' back bringing it in. Credit to him running hard whilst his head resembled a pineapple!

| It reminded me of the KR game, a game where we could have lost but did enough/bounce of the ball went our way buy as the adage says the more I practice the luckier I get.
We needed to kill Leighs offloads which we didn't do enough, Thewlis should have slid across for 1st try.
Why was Hayes defending at centre and King doing the kick chase surely it makes sense the otherwise around.
Thought Vaughan quiet on return expected him to ignite the game but didn't.
Williams also quiet but we didn't get much possession in opposition 20.
Hayes kicks 1st half lacked distance but improved much better 2nd half.
Attack quite regimented 1st half, 4 forward carries Dufty on 4th and Hayes kick on 5th. They had us pegged and would quickly get to Dufty on the 4th. 2nd half much better.
Lack of zip about the play both sides of the ball. Understandably so with the tough games we have had but on another day like the Saints game you have Dufty and Williams sniffing for the offload/drop ball (although Dufty did well for his try)
Moore was quite poor at policing the ruck and offsides. Couldn't tell the video ref decisions as the sunshine made the big screen unwatchable. But it was nice to see a working scoreboard.
Fitzgibbon was immense as was Matty Nic.
Very happy with result and team spirit, would like to see that prop signing to keep momentum.

| I thought it was a damn good game ,hard fought by both teams. It was obvious from the start that the Wire Old Boys & their new friends had come to mark our card.
