Enjoyed that this evening, great turnout too. We look dangerous in attack, and had pretty solid line defence (until the chaotic last 10). The future looks bright.

Thought tonight was a huge test, Leigh were high on confidence, with a lot of dangers and we were playing a bit patched up.

I think the most important thing in modern day RL is being able to minimise the loss of key personnel with positional changes and Powell is doing a good job at the minute. We’ve still got a few weaknesses and are crying out for a classy centre and another second row but win or lose this lot put the effort in and that’s all you can ask for.

If I’m honest I’m not bothered about being 50/60 points ruthless, I’d rather we learnt the various ways to win games. The more often we’re tested the better.

Powell as said already that Russell will play next week.

When this season has Thewlis been on shaky form? He has been exceptional every game; such a shame he got injured tonight.

When I listened to the Hull KR game commentary on the radio they made mention of a few defensive errors and mistakes. Apologies if this is not true.

I watched it on Wire TV and didn't notice any defensive errors. Both tries were on his side, but a couple of players in.

Both tries went through drinkwater (who was excellent last night)

Sloppy last 10 minutes.
Put ourselves under pressure in the 1st half by making errors - stray passes etc.
Decent defence and ruthless attack.

Thewlis out next week. Chance for Russell. (Minikin to be on bench?)

Anyone else notice Vaughans heavy right leg strapping - taking it off on the sideline when he came off after the 1st stint?.....
