We have won 2 and lost 10 out of our last 12 SL games.

However, a week ago you could have said we'd won 2 and lost 9 out of our last 11.

But nobody was talking about getting rid of Price last week, they were talking about:

- The team looking more positive and aggressive this year
- A greater degree of togetherness in the side
- Currie looking to have returned to form
- Ashton seeming to be a real find
- Philbin one of the most underrated players in SL
- The great boost we have got from re-signing Ratchford

I guess it shows the effect of recency bias. I'm not unduly worried, 1 win from 3 was about where I thought we would be at this point given our fixtures at the start of the season. I bet before the end of the season Wakefield will have beaten at least 2 out of Wigan, Saints and Hull as well.

After about 6 to 10 weeks of the season we will have a better idea of where we are.

I thought we wanted it more today. Our defence was the best it’s been for a while and we kept our discipline. For two such high profile players, Austin and Widdop were anonymous.

We’re effectively wasting a great squad with a clueless coach in charge, ratchford, Austin, widdop, Clark and he can’t get the team to score points? We know where we are under price he got lucky at Wembley and it saved his job in the end. He is on borrowed time and I hope we don’t waste this spine by continuing with him in charge, Fitzpatrick can go for me aswell.

We lost a battle but at the end of the day you know as well as me that we will win the war

The issue is that it looked from the first 2 games that we had addressed our issues from 2019 and become solid defensively and more potent in attack. The wakefield game shows nothing has changed. As another poster has said our attacking, quality squad is being squandered under Price. How can a team with Widdop, Clark, Austin, Ratchford, Lineham, Charnley only manage 1 try against Wakefield ...

Yeah Saints will beat us when it counts.

Just massively disappointed and hoping that today is a one off after the games against Wigan and Saints.

We need a great performance against Toronto and a big win (Fingers crossed).

I am half hoping we lose and that wakes the club exec board from their daydream and they take action.

We dreamt about winning the 2019 Challenge Cup too.

I dreamt wire won the championship once...........turned out i was half drunk and was watching a documentary on the history channel
