I am looking online and I cant find anything that state Kevin Brown in under contract next year.
Although I am only finding dated articles.

I asked that question about Browns contract a few weeks ago and someone pointed out that it’s on the warrignton elves website. Contracted til 2019 so must have been an unannounced extension or an option that wasn’t made clear when he signed. Happy to have him in the squad but not at the expense of a proper organising half back with a great kicking game.

If that's the case I'd genuinely wish him well in the future, he was the best we could get after the sandow affair, has put himself on the line for us, been solid enough especially in defence. The reality is though we really do need an improvement in kicking game and the salary cap doesnt allow us to keep well paid players for bench or reserve spots.

Yes. I dont think anybody wishes him ill at all, just not what we need now. If he is to go I wish him all the best. Maybe he is off to Toronto with Wilkin.
