| We have two centres and neither have a great passing game for their winger!
Yes one defends great and the other knows where the line is! Both of them should be on the wings until they develop a technique they are reluctant to use.

| Id say replace Evans completely nook to replace Atkins the following season if Atkins was to change from centre it would be to second row where we have no need for him there.
Were very light in our strike players we've the players to build a platform for some top quality centre n wingers to flourish.

| The bulk of the team that plays today have played virtually all year. Apart from Hughes and Sandow with 8week injuries and a couple of suspensions for Sims then there has been very little rest. This is mainly due to long term injuries to the likes of Wheeler, Laithwaite, Harrison and Dodds. Perhaps this is just the replacement of a player who's injury record is not brilliant with a more robust player. If he can fill in at second row or centre when there are knocks or when TS picks his games then great.
Good on him.

| Quote: rubber duckie "Matty is a good centre!
Ok not world class but it's not hiim who should be recieving flak when our options are restricted with the failings of those responsible for recruitment in 2015/16 and he who was signed.
Matty can pass, break a line, find a line and defend one, with class back rowers around him, he could be very solid without being an Anthony Gelling.
Let's just give the lad our support. He is a good lad. Very grounded and he always made himself available to represent the club on so many occasions where the Yorkshire based players wouldn't.'"
Sorry not lacking in effort and taking ball up for Bulls but his defence has been very poor and hardly given a pass to his winger in last 2 seasons

| terrible backwards step. Cooper has improved himself in the best league on the planet...Blyth has gone backwards in a worst league. Awful.

| Comparing Matty with Coops shows how daft your post is....
How is a player able to improve himself when he is playing week in week out in a competition of a lower class and expect him to rival a player who has gone up in grade? Doh!

| I've never seen him have a bad game in the P & B so I'm all in favour of him coming back home. I find it easy to support a team or player that shows commitment and that's what we can expect from Matt.

| Underwhelmed - seeing as we're short on wingers, what about bringing back Williams from London too?
Jeez, any more players not good enough for any other SL club that we can pick up whilst we're scrabbling around in the lower divisions???

To be honest ,with the way our scouting system seems to be not delivering the goods, i wouldn't be surprised to see us sign a frail looking winger from Sydney called Brian Bevan ,who would obviously just not turn up.

| As much as I like the guy we just as I see it don't need cover for his positions, it's pretty obvious to everyone we are struggling with the wing

| Saw Bev play many times, he was a mysterious magic player. An introvert off the field and an extrovert on it. He would be a wow if he was playing now however with the accent on big athletic wingers these days I am not sure he would be entertained by many clubs. Great clips by the way WO and the one that followed on you tube of the 54 Cup Final replay at Odsal was a treat, fantastic crowd, crowd safety?

| Many of the knockers, some more personal jibes than others, are the same as those who knocked Bailey!!!..?
Matty is okay. I don't recall him having a thread to himself with pages of dissatisfied posters running for weeks/months during his time here.
He'll be good enough, tbh, if he was here now, with our right edge issue, I think he'd be on our right side ahead of Toby, who seems to be struggling at this level at times.

That was too early for me. Dad said that an awful lot of people climbed in at the back - he reckoned the crowd was around 110-120k not 104K. I would loved to have seen Gerry Helme playing as he was dad's favourite.
