Don't think anyone had a bad game so my next comment isn't a dig although it will seem like one.

If i had to line the players up from best to worst Atkins would be 17th for me.

Unfortunately,Steff's Jack of all trades utility status has left him without a place to call his own, but at least we have a very capable & versatile reserve who will no doubt come into his own later in the season.

chris sandow is playing some pretty special footy at the moment
IMO he is without a doubt the most exciting player in the super league competition and one that will bring fans through the turnstiles

That kick he put in at headingley in the seasons opener to create penny's try in the corner was a sublime piece of skill

wolves are looking very good this season and will be the team to beat

Disagree massively, Atkins was very good last night his best performance for ages. I can't see how Evans is any better a centre in any department if we're looking for a centre to drop for ratchford!

Thing is on yesterday's performances I don't see why we should be looking to drop anybody! If ratchford wants some game time then he is going to have to earn it.

Like i said, i genuinely don't think he played bad, not just saying this but no one had a bad game, a couple of drop off tackles or errors but no one had a bad game.

I know what you mean but sometimes it seems like bagging Atkins for the sake of it. He was definitely not out 17th best player last night he was very good. Don't get me wrong he was outshone by many outstanding performances but credit where it's due Ryan Atkins playing like he did last night is very welcome in our team. As things currently stand he's our best specialist centre for me.

Both centres had 7/10 matches last night, yes we routed them, but both Rhys and Ryan jumped the line on occasions giving them gaps to exploit, both were as good and as bad as each other imo.

Atkins gives us a much faster play the ball, more tries and a more solid go forward. For me he is much better than Rhys. I am not calling for Rhys to get the chop but he needs to get us faster play the ball at the breakdown for me. As said though I wouldn't change anything for now let others prove they are better.

I was talking to a random in the crowd about Ash Sims, he was moaning about the leg drive and comparing him to Hill.
But i think Ash goes down easy to get a rapid play the ball or draw a penalty.

Agree they're different forwards but both important to us. When Ashton came back on last night we looked much better so it's not just hill. It was great that hill could get a good rest for Friday though, the minutes Cox and King put in will do them both good but hill and sims give us so much more. It makes it even more gutting that Dodds will be missing for so long he would be almost the perfect replacement with Cox.

Responding to an earlier poster. Stef is an integral part of our team.
The guys in the 1 - 13 deserve to be there at the moment, but they know they need to play well to stay there.
There are very few players who can play with his versatility and that makes him really special, although I can understand that it may be not viewed like that in respect international chances.

Im sure Steph may be getting a little frustrated at not starting but this is where he needs to be super professional and do what Jon Clarke did a few years ago when he was dropped to 18th man - be positive and get TS's man of the match award for his support for the rest of the team.

We've had 3 injuries in the last 3 games. Thankfully Stef can cover 2 of those.
In terms of our chances of silverware, if Stef keeps on coming from the bench then it just shows the level we'll have been playing at.

Next week will probably see the same team and starting line up except Clark to start and Philbin (or poss Julien) to come in.

I thought BW was another week away but if he's ready then no problem with that.
Quite a good position to be in.
