I saw the Instagram post at the weekend regarding "Going to miss these" or something close to that. The rumours started on here later that evening. The following day the post was taken down and no comment from Club or Woody made.
Hopefully, there is a cooling off period and something gets resolved between whoever is involved. Would be a shame for his Wolves career to end this way.

He was nothing short of a liability last year. Great move by the club if we managed to get shut.

I'd go as far as saying he was a disgrace in the games I watched him in last season.

Paul Wood is the best player that came out of our youth system since Sculthorpe so he's not someone to be dismissed with a kthxbye approach.

For many years especially in the inconsistent DVDV and Cullen years, Wood was a model of consistency for us and stood up when the team was struggling.

He seems to have had a turbulent time off the pitch in recent years so I hope he is OK in himself and in his head.

But I would be very disappointed if he was not here next year? He should have been given a massive tribute and send off.

Agreed, there are some very harsh words on here. Woody is not a write-off. He was not good last season, but his year was marred by injuries and he never got going. I see no reason why he can't get back to his best with a good full pre-season, despite his age. Whenever he goes and however he goes, Woody will always be welcomed back by me.
