| next week is the acid test but its certainley not doom and gloom should we suffer the expected loss that some are spouting...next week will see some of the experienced players to the fold and if we lose we lose..then we get a break come semi final week to freshen our limbs...looking forward to august time when the real stuff begins...and a fully fit squad

| Quote Asgardian13="Asgardian13"We already had a good hiding away at the Cats. And we seem to have 'gone into an SL game with one recognised HB' and won it. O'Brien is as inexperienced as was Lee Briers when he signed for Wire. Myler would work great with him. As would Ratchford. You ought to be thankful you're not a Chemics fan or you'd be slitting your wrists, attitude on you, boy.'"
Quality post.

| Hopefully we can do a Leeds of last year and concentrate on the big one. It would be great to go further in the cc but i think
it would mean so much more if we could do the elusive big one.

| For those that remember it.
Cast your minds back to the last few days of Feb 1990.
We were drawn away to Bradford in the CC QF. No-one gave us a prayer. A ground where we rarely won. It was ####ing cold (I swear I saw a Polar bear walk past me with a Duffel coat on). Fast forward 22 years, and everything matches up again (apart from the day's temperature). Let's go on and win it, and the final too.

| Always great or crap times at odsal. remember another close contest at headingly v bradford in the regal trophy final and
it was agians't a typically strong bradford pack but dessie lifted the trophy and we all ran on to and pitch at the end. the wire
side couldn't parade it around the ground as there were so many fans on the pitch. Memory is patchy nowadays but i remember
going to the semi at headingly about 5 years later and losing to a bradford side at the start of their golden period with players
including vaiklolo and we gave them a damn good game but the inevitable happened and we lost. I remember being
in the standing area of the brian bevan stand (some past posts have mentioned this game) when we were 20+ odd nil or 4 behind at
half time to a good bradford side and we came back- the catalyst being a kick off at the start of the 2nd half with danny nutley
taking on paul anderson and putting him in his place and we came back, backed by the roar of wilderspool to win something like
32-28.

You Sir, are mistaken.
The lady in question is faithfull to only one person
I challenge you to a duel to the death. The choice of weapon is yours. It will be irrelevant. You will perish after this slur.
I DEMAND SATISFACTION!
