| The poll is needlessly divisive.
I'm not a great fan of this, but at the same time if I can make it to a game I will - I won't be throwing a paddy. I would certainly much prefer to attend a game on a Friday or Saturday, goes without saying. But I do enjoy my rugby and, when Warrington aren't involved, I think it'll be good TV on a Monday night.

From May 25 to Aug 6, there won't be a Saturday game.

Sounds like you are an undecided then! How can a poll not be divisive? Just pick the answer closest to how you feel. It's only indicative and not to be taken seriously anyway.

I have decided. I'm neither over the moon nor banging on about a boycott.
It'll be good when I'm watching on telly, not so good when planning to attend a game.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| It'll be nice to watch a game on a Monday but will leave a gap in my Saturday nights. I'll have to spend time with the family <FFS>

| I think if sky want to replace Monday Night Football with Super League then that can only be a good thing, the sport should take it as a compliment rather than look at it as a hinderance. There are probably more people sat at home watching tv on a Monday evening rather than Friday and Saturday and we won't be competing with the prime time programs typical of a Saturday night.

| Well that's brilliant. I'm usually busy (having a life) on a saturday.( Especially during the summer) and I always miss the game when they start at like 5 or 6. I always prefer a late game so I can get my drank on.
For the casual fan (what I mean is if leeds and saints were playing-which they are) it is more convenient for a wire fan to watch that on a monday night than a saturday evening, I would argue. It's a bugger for travelling but on thw whole it means more viewership for sky.

| Ridiculous idea (even by the RFL's standards) as attendances will no doubt prove. Even for local derbies where travel isnt an issue theres gonna be a bit of a flat atmosphere compared to a saturday teatime game

| No atmosphere?
Do people not cheer on a Monday?
Sky (who've invested millions into our game, in the last 16 years) need live sport on a Monday in the summer, as they don't have any....bar horse racing....they need their schedules filling..people have better things to do on a Saturday night.
Sky may have actually done some market research on this....they do tend to get a lot of things right....
....revolutionary idea....let's see how things work out (when it happens) rather than bitch like a bunch of old women.

| Not being able to attend on a Monday aside, i actually think the crowds will be decent if it isn't London, Catalan, FC or KR away.
Evening games usually create a better type of atmosphere.

Firstly, anybody getting the world 'shoehorned' onto RL Fans, fair play to you.
Secondly, it's a good point really. The Saturday games for a while have been shunted about, 7pm, 5.30pm, 4pm etc. You regularly get the teams coming out as it comes on. If Monday RL can be a bit like Monday Night Football with a proper build up etc, maybe some talking point analysis from the weekend etc, basically a more comprehensive show then that can only be a good thing.
