Salford also had the better game plan to deal with the conditions. They also took advantage of the officials who didn't want to police the 10mtrs. We didn't and we got what we deserved. I also thought that some of our worse players were not involved in the Englands/Exiles match.

As for the game, bit churlish to blame today's defeat on anything other than the two main factors - Salford's performance and ours. They played very well, we didn't. They won. That's sport.

Carvel did very well considering he should have been worn out after friday!!!!!! have not seen the city reds tackle and get in the oppositions faces as good as we did today all season,simple tactics won us the game,have never watched a clock as much as i did for 25 mins today mind you!

You come across as very young & crisps on your shoulder. In time they will become chips. There were 250 from Salford in the `players` stand never mind the terraces.

Be gracious in defeat for once - Salford overcame a penalty count of 23-2 from Mr Thaler plus had a Ratchford try disallowed which would have been given on TV. Salfords pack won the game and if Fridays game is your ultimate excuse then why not utilise your squad and play the lads on the sidelines.

The bottom line is Mr Smith misread the signals and picked the wrong team entirely.
