there just bloody songs and they get sung in football rl and ru wot about in germany last world cup and the england fans were singing there was 10 german bombers in the sky, man utd singing about micheal shields, there just songs the two yorkshire ripper song and a town full of rapist its just banter its an away game we took alot we get drunk we have a laugh we have some idiots but hey we have been called y warrington for years if you dont like the songs the banter dont bother going

Its banter, but draw the line at racism. Footballs a lot worse, Leeds fans i remember singing to Utd "Whose that lieing on the runway", the Spanish making monkey noises etc.

The atmosphere is nothing compared to the Wilderspool days. We rely on the guy banging the drum and I notice we've even resorted to singing 'She Wore a Yellow Ribbon' in league games! Its great to see big crowds but the atmosphere is often flat.

"Throw him a banana" was heard by me but when I turned round to tell the lad in question to pack it in I realised him and his mates were all beyond bladdered and would have battered me so off I walked to stand out of earshot of them.

I didn't stand anywhere near the screen where most of the singing was coming from, aside from the last five minutes when I went over in hope of enjoying the celebrations (which obviously I did) so I can't comment on any of the unsavoury songs that have been mentioned as I didn't hear any of them. At least that suggests they weren't sung en masse as I did hear, "She Wore..." etc a number of times.

haha, i think he's trying to say it's only a song and that people shouldn't be bothered about it and that we sing it all the time.

Personally i dont think that we should be singing Wembly songs untill were garunteed a place there. Last year i only started singing Que Sara when King went over for his hat-trick try.

No I'm not. Heard it sung a few times, and it wasn't just teenagers singing it. A woman in her late 40's stood behind me was singing it over & over and the top of her voice. Not good when I was with my 15 year old son and a few of his mates (who giggled but didn't dare join in).

I'm still dismayed that the biggest chant of the day until the final hooter was 'Ingerlund, Ingerlund, Ingerlund...'
