it was still live because it doesn't touch the floor, and pelo jumped from the field of play, correct decision

which you can do providing your feet are both off the ground when you touch the ball

The ball doesn't have to touch the ground outside the pitch to be out of play.

Of course it does. What about the Gasnier try that Ingliss jumped over the dead ball line with and flicked back?
I saw Lyon do the same for us but at the touchline after Long had put a kick in that was going dead and he flicked it back to Gardner while out of the field of play in mid air.
Thems the rules.

The ball was kicked off and no one touched it.
The ball was in the air over the touchline - the ball is still live. The Cats player jumped with his feet off the ground out of play and palmed it towards the field - the ball is still live.
The ball never made it back into the field of play, it bounced out of play after being made dead by the Cats player.
Scrum Saints.
A top tip from the wise, before calling someone a fecktard get your facts straigh or you end up looking like one
But if you have your foot over the dead ball line and catch the ball it is a 20m restart.(your advantage)
Therefore if you are over the touchline and touch the ball it should be a scrum to you

no
the difference is that the feet are on the ground for one example and not the other. This really isnt that difficult. In addition, to take advantage of that restart thing you have to have one foot out and the other in the field of play, dont you?

Thankyou for your nice comments, they are appreciated.
If it happened to us I wouldnt moan because I know the rules. I dont sit there in perpetual outrage waiting to jump on a ref for allegedly cheating in favour of a team i dislike so Im unlikely to jump in like a moron with cries of cheat without getting my facts straight first

| It's a shame RL has no strong willed personalities like Ballack and Drogba to stand up against refereeing injustice.

You never answered my question about who you support.
Given your totally biased comments you are a Saints fan.
Im speaking as a neutral in that i dont care for saints or catalans, and what i witnessed yesterday was a poor refereeing display by Thaler which benefited saints and more than hindered catalans.
The ref basically gave saints two trys by awarding penalties that never were and also disallowed a perfectly good catalans try. Without those glaring errors alone it would have been a much closer game.
You are talking out of your saints rose tinted glasses. Just take it from a neutrals point of view and accept it

The whole of SL will be laughing their heads off as you come a cropper in both competitions.
If the RFL weren't so weak Saints would surely be facing some kind of disciplinary for treating the Magic Weekend with utter contempt.
You and your club obviously think you are a cut above everyone else.
